Today we had interesting articles ... especially talking about what both 'Chiefs' said couple of days ago. These addresses has confused the whole nation including journalist surmaas..... that's why all these articles are supporting both chief’s. The question is real and still unanswered that were these statements were actually against each other. Very few people know that General Kiani's statement came after Chief Justice statements not the other way around. Both these chief’s need to 'talk' and make sure that they take Pakistan to next free and fair election. Chief Justice statement was a little shabby due to following phrases: 1) It is the court who hold final authority in Pakistan. I am not sure from where did they got that from. There is no final authority defined in Constitution of Pakistan. Court is the only interpreter of the constitution written and approved by the Parliament. Both Parliament and Court should work in their circles. 2) Those days have passed where arms were used to protect the nation.... Arms are used to protect national interest and will continue to be used in future. Not sure from where did Chief Justice got this idea ... However, Chief of Army Staff has not authority to pass general statements on all institutions of Pakistan. Above explains how vulnerable our democracy is as both these non-democratic institutions are passing statements which actually does not make sense at all.Mr Naji highlighted a very interest fact of the history that Mr Jinnah used army as a stick to convince British Raj and Congress to give Muslim independence under the flag of Pakistan. However same army did not listened to Mr Jinnah during 1948 war. Mr Rauf Kla Sara has nothing to write but against Nawaz Sharif .... today article was one of his worst one and clueless ... In his whole article he was finding ways to criticise PML(N) without knowing that Mushraf's team members are now everywhere in all parties which include PTI, PPP, MQM so why PML(N) only being criticised. I believe Mr. Rauf should have listened to his wife and stayed at UK to learn more about journalism ... not sure whether he has made his career or not .. the reason he came to back to Pakistan.Today article of Dr. Manzoor Ijaz was really good. It highlighted that Imran has used donations around to the globe to fund his party instead of relying on feudal and industrialist. This is very good news for Pakistan politics ... looks like there is a light on the other end of the tunnel ... Very good read. Also Auria Maqbool Jaan's article was very emotional ... but it highlighted that on what ground we asked for independence ... a very good reminder especially to those who want to re-write our history under shadows of liberal fascism.
