Chief Minister Punjab inaugurates Punjab's state-of-the-art Tier-III data center and cloud services. PITB’s state-of-the-art Tier-III Data Centre has the capacity to host 3000 servers with absolute security. PITB Datacenter and cloud inaugurated by CM today has over 2000 processing cores, 3 Terabyte Memory & over 400 Terabytes of storage capacity.

The data centre also houses the Land Record Management Information System (LRMIS). He visited the Data Centre facility where Chairman PITB, Dr. Umar Saif, briefed him about the benefits of the Data Center. Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif presented a souvenir to Dr. Saif in recognition of his efforts in overseeing the launch of LRMIS. "I'm thankful to PITB and Dr. Umar Saif in particular for his contributions which have made LRMIS possible," said CM Punjab.

I think the main thing is to have land record system and its implementation. Enhancing technology is not issue especially we are in cloud computing where you can increase processors and storage in minutes without any hasstle.

Yes, Tier 4 datacenters are the safest place for your organization's data and hardware as they are built to withstand earthquakes, floods, fires, and have several physical security zones. The Tier 4 standard ensures that the datacenter provides the highest level of security, integrity and redundancy available in the datacenter solutions industry.

Data centers are classified into 4 tiers on the basis of several performance criteria:

Tier-1: A guarantee of 99.671% availability (28.8 hours of downtime per year)
Tier-2: A guarantee of 99.749% availability (22 hours of downtime per year)
Tier-3: A guarantee of 99.982% availability (1.6 hours of downtime per year)
Tier-4: A guarantee of 99.995% availability (only 26.28 minutes of downtime per year)

But they are too expensive even almost all data centers in India are rated at Tier 3 or below it.

All of this doesnt matter. ADC's n DCO's are at their wits end. The LRMS is intentionally not willing to facilitate the masses. The sole purpose is just to make more bribe out of it. Ground reality is.

.1) You wont be given Fard without a lot of hassle. The SCO first would simply say this piece of land has "Mushtareka Malikan", without the permission of all these I wont give you Fard. After a lot of arguement, an application addressed to SCI would make it happen but then you would be told Khewat is blocked and SCO will never give you in writing about it. In the end you will be forced to bribr the staff in thousands to get simple Fard. For anything more tghan that if you need nyother document well forget about it. The only thing is to get these people caught by Anti corruption.

So, all thats been written in the Opening Thread has not only zero value bt is in negative. The reaons are

1) No body faces consequences for what he/she is doing.
2) the lower staff is all into it and back each other, only at times The ADC and DCO's take some interest that also under pressure from politicians.
3) Wrtting emails/complainng to Regioal directors LRMS or Chief Sec you will get no reply. They are simply not interested in it.
