i must admit MQM is only proper organsied political party and only thing i hate about them is they talk about sindh this karchi that and mahjar this urdu speaking that punjabi this anp that if they ever leave that crap and instead talk about pakistan and come in to main domain of pakistan politics i have no doubt they can change the poltical landscape of pakistan. i like thier culture and modesty i dont agree with their poliltics of intemdiation and i dont like their lassaaniet line .

and they always side with goverment for some reason if they develop how to do opposition as well then they can rock pakistan

i have my doubts about altaf hussain he might be double agent but their party structure and lots of things r really good as a strong imran khan supporter i have to admit they r far better organized and managed then PTI and PML and PPP

Thanks for your valuable thoughts about MQM. At some extent you are right that the general perception about MQM is all about the party of Muhajirs living in Sidh province. Yes, indeed, MQM first was formed by youth of Karachi with the name of Muhajir Qaumi Movement, but when it gained overwhelmed popularity, it was suggested by many senior and intellectual Muhajirs and other realistic people in Pakistan that they should change their politics of ethinicity towards the politics of whole Pakistan. They must have to come to the main stream, and due to this immense pressure from in and out of the Party, MQM had to change its name to Muttahida Quami Movement. It's 13 years now, they are using this name. But in this due course of time there were so many incidents happened when Party had to face enormous amount of opposition from all over the country's corrupt political leadership. They are so much fearful of the popularity of this party that they utilised all means of opposition. They did media trial, they used civil and military administration against them and so on just to eliminat MQM, but still they are not successful yet.
Just to give you an example of the 2005 earthquake in Northern areas and Azad Kashmir. MQM did so much charity there that people in Kashmir accepted them and today MQM has two elected MPs in Azad Kashmir Assembly. The same thing happened at the time of earthquake in Baluchistan two years ago. These areas are abosolutely not the areas of Muhajirs but MQM was able to help our very own brothers living in other parts of the country.
80% of the development work in Karachi is being done by Punjabi and Pathan contractors. These contractors bring the labor from all over the pakistan just to work in Karachi's development. There is no clause in any of the tender saying that these contractors have to hire local Muhajir labor. No, my dear no. This is a reality I am talking about.
This is just a false proppaganda against MQM in all over the country. But our messge is being spreaded and people have started to listen MQM now.
Personally, I wish, if I can ever see MQM and PTI shaking hands and developing a good working relationship just for the betterment of our beloved country. I wish.

Your hatred discrimination is on height, and I am wondering, why you are so aggressive, it feel like something personal, anyways, the best option, you better talk about some thing positive, and do guide us some thing great which can help us promoting our self as a better Pakistani Citizen. Can you advise us, what is the best effort you have done today, in order to improve our country wide poverty?

Will look forward to hear something real great. I am sure you will be agree that in this forum we are first Patriot Pakistani regardless of religion etc.

You are very right, Muhajir's are definitely on right track, the only reason in Government, is very clear, unfortunately, apart from all administrative and Political success, they are still kept limited within Karachi, Hyderabad, & Sukkur, they have limited mendate, which can't change anything, so the best option is to be with the Government. Unfortunately, Leadership overlook, with whom they are sharing power, and that is the only negative part, but hopefully in future some more progress will pop up. Imran Khan is coming up very rapidly, he will definitely swipe all over Pakistan, but he will have tough time in MQM constituencies.

I'm extremely disappointed with your information.
If I'm correct. Altaf went to US in Late 70s or early 80s.
Apart from getting Green Card by doing marriage to a US passport holder or green card holder. Even in late 80s, people in US were getting green card on FARMER category with the help of lawyers in US. At that time there were several opportunity of getting green card. In late 80s. Lot of US passport holder, who married with Pakistani, took there husband/wife in US, with in the month. All you've to show your marriage certificate. But, now it is impossible, even if a passport holder do marriage, it requires at least a year. It is getting tougher and tougher. But in late 70s and 80s, it was not as difficult as it now.
