SHANNON, Ireland - A 10-year-old girl died Saturday after falling ill aboard a transatlantic Air Canada flight.
The airline says Toronto-to-London flight AC868 diverted to Shannon, Ireland, after the child suffered a medical problem.

Air Canada says two doctors and a nurse were on board the plane and helped the flight crew to assist the child.

Emergency crews met the aircraft when it landed in Ireland, but Air Canada says local medical authorities pronounced the girl dead.
The Boeing 787 with 230 passengers on board continued on to London.

The Irish Sun reported that the coroner's office has been informed and a post-mortem examination will be carried out.
Neither Air Canada nor the Canadian government could immediately confirm the girl's nationality
Whether it is airline at fault to allow victim inside aircraft by Not early detection of emergency passenger or if it is failing to allow passengers with medical problems by its policy. The action is learned by death on board Canadian airlines which shows clearly the demographic population educational background of putting someone life on risk which shows it's result at end of day.

To the thread poster ... you must not be serious. how can an airline be responsible for someone who felt sick during the flight. Haven't you heard of people getting heart attacks or even women giving birth during the flight. Airlines do not ask their passengers medical history before allowing them to travel ... so even if you are posting a news from a source ... at least post it from a source which is not stupid.
