Cabinet approves signing European Convention for Dr Afias release

ISLAMABAD: A ray of hope for Dr Afia Siddiqui's release has surfaced as the federal cabinet has approved signing European Convention, paving the way for extradition Siddiqi to Pakistan, SAMAA reports on Wednesday.




The cabinet met here today with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on chair.




More than sixty countries including US are signatories of the convention.




Addressing the meeting, the PM directed Interior Minister to make arrangements for the early return of Dr. Aafia Siddiqui. SAMAA

It will be good if our Pakistani sister Dr. Aafia comes back to Pakistan and people who sold her should be punished but I would like to know what is the exact cost of this new affair between Pakistan & The West.

I think they are asking for Dr. Shakil Afridi traitor from Pakistan & Nawaz wants to give him to US which should not be the case.
