LAHORE: Raiding team of Sui Northern Gas Company and City District Government unearthed biggest gas theft in the history of Lahore, Geo News reported.

The team conducted raid at a steel factory in Darogawala in Lahore and arrested two employees.

According to the raiding team, action was taken on the complaints of local residents about low gas pressure. When the team inspected the pipeline, it was discovered that gas was being provided to the steel factory, spread on several canals of land, of Sikandar Gujjar.

Two employees of the factory have been arrested, however, the owners of were not present at the time of raid.

Owner will not be arrested because in another sui gas theaft case N League MNA Khalid Warriach was involved but nothing has been done against him.He is also involved in roberies and killings in past.

[h=1]EPD issues notice to Steel re-rolling industry.[/h] LAHORE, January 14, 2012 (Balochistan Times): Environment Protection Department (EPD) of the City District Government Lahore issued notice to a steel re-rolling mill on Friday for causing pollution in the area. According to EPD sources during inspection at different points in the city, it was found out that Yousaf steel re-rollers at Bund road were spreading air pollution as they were using old tyres for fuel purpose. The residents had complained in this regard. EPD team issued notice to the owner under Punjab Local Government Ordinance article 146.D with directions to appear before the competent authority. Meanwhile Chairman re-rolling Steel Mill Association Sikander Gujjar on Friday said, Steel industry is dying due to closure of gas supply to industry. Labourers of this industry are jobless. When steel mills use coal or tyres for fuel, environment protection department issues notices and seals the units, he added.

just make the law the use of gas for home is only cost of 30 Rs. per month
.like in India 1 Rs Kg for whole and 2 Rs graned and 3 Rs for any kind Of rise , food for poor people . the biggest loser of such bill is IMF and World Bank .

Such must be past in pakistan also. as soon as possible .then talk with any group or person for pace .
