i thought they offered more bandwidth in pakistan. Back in 2013 when I was using PTCL Nitro I would get almost 9 Mbps bandwidth without any cap on volume and used to pay only Rs. 1030/month for it..and tell you what it seemed blazing fast :)

The actual rates are 1000 to 1200 rupees expensive if you take in account the taxes as well. For example they charge me around 2720 Rs/month for 4 MB package right now..

When I was in the US... I was paying Verizon $55/mo. Fiber to the home in 2006. 30Mbps Down / 5 Mbps Up. This was 2006. Then when I visited Dubai in 2016, Etisalat had a Fiber to the home service where it started from 20Mbps Down / 5Mbps Up for 360 Dhs/mo. That's about a $100 US dollars. What I am trying to say is... Janat America mein hi hai. Baaki poori duniya bas awein fazool ki hai. lol. Oh and Also janat Japan aur Korea mein bhi hai. Europe mein bhi hai. lol.

So 2006 in the US I had 30Mbps Down / 5 Mbps Up. It's been 11 or 12 years since that time. Even in Places like dubai its not caught up, Pakistan to BOHUTTTTTTTT hi durr ki baat hai. Infact Pakistan to baat hi nahi hai. lol.

Just checked Verizon's page. They are now offering 50Mbps Down/ 50Mbps Up.. $49.99/mo.
For $59.99/mo. Its 100Mbps Down/ 100Mbps Up.

And no damn censorship! The Government is not your Abba.
