Benazir's assassination and Musharraf
Few mislead people blame Gen Pervez Musharraf for BB's assassination on the basis of thier political masters statements and UN's report. So I would like to clarify this false perception. Firstly Gen Musharraf himself survived two assassination attempts being the president having the highest level of security and many other plots were uncovered. Then BB violated the deal. She came before the elections and according to the deal she should have come after the elections. Then she was warned of the threat to her life and was stopped from going to Liaqat Bagh before but she went there inspite of the warning but she remained safe and nothing happened to her during the jalsa. When her convoy came out, she tookout her head from the sun roof of her car and got killed. Nothing would have happened to her had she remained inside the the car and it is evident from the fact that those who remained in the car are alive like Makhdoom amin faheem, Sherry Rehman etc. PPP had taken the responsibility of her security, Security lapse is on the part of ppp, where was there security when the incident happened??? Those who blame Gen musharraf, Army or the agencies that they were involved are completely unaware of the facts. Before Benazir's assassination Army, other forces and agencies were targeted by 19 sucide attacks, so how could they use the same people for killing her who attacked them. Is not it funny? Regarding gen Musharraf's involvement, he was niehter the PM nor the COAS. Mian M Soomro was the PM and Gen kiyani was the COAS. What a pity 60 crore rs have been spent on such a useless report.
