This budget was not that bad as the people were expecting but these are only the figures on paper which can be changed with the time . if the govt had levied direct taxes, wealth tax,tax on stock exchange and tax on agriculture where landlords are getting rich day by day and not paying a penny in taxes is totally unexcuseable. Health and education expenditures should have been increased , the poor would people get education so their attention and mentality would make the difference like terrorism. There was not much done on micro and macro economic.Something should have been announced for job creation. Govt took more than 4000 billion rupees as loan in last two years but spent them on non-productive projects and also big portion gone to corruption which will definately effect the pakistanis when paying it back.I hope the govt will use the clean hands now and have pity on poors instead of themselves.People will see the outcome of this budget within six months if the honesty and morality prevail. I dont hope too much from this govt because of their past record but lets hope-------?

This budget is still one more ritual which had been done with this nation every year. Golden dreams floated and rainy days is the factual position. Let us Check:

a) One Minister/Adviser/Minister of State= 100,000 rupees per day.
b) PM/President's foreign trips: 3,500,000 to 4,000,000 per day.
c) Prime Minister House running= 1,200,000 per day.
d) President's house running = same even more amount.
e) National Assembly= 4,000,000 per day
f) Senate= 3,000,000 per day.

65% tax collected indirectly from the poor and spent on "FEW". Oh Let us not forget:

i) Federal Secretary
ii) Additional Secretaries
iii) Corporation Officers
iv) Ambassadors
v) And of Course all CSS Officers really vultures and leeches to public exchequer. SS Fund, Passages, plus double PPs (Privelges and Perks).

Even rain of dollars and the earth gushing gold will be swallowed by these crooks and the present set up
From where the change will come.

Look towards Sky pray Dohay Noa(as) and wait for Tofanay Noa(as).

Share it with us. Then at the provinces level. Governors plus their fooj-zafar-mooj. Suleman Tasir even wishes to have a car worth of ten schools. This budget business is total non-sense. unless the sincerity is to lift the country and masses up, there will be nothing.

The 10 per cent cut in the salaries of the federal cabinet members is nothing but a ruse as the budget documents show that salary allocations have been increased from the current Rs143 million per year to Rs201 million for 2010-11, or an increase of more than 40 per cent.......

According to the budget books, like the ministers and ministers of state, the salaries of special assistants and advisers to the prime minister have also been increased from a total of Rs8.2m and Rs9.9m to Rs11.5m and Rs11.7m, respectively.

In case of allocations for the salaries of members of the National Assembly, it has been increased from Rs645 million to Rs669 million for the next fiscal year. The pay of the speaker and deputy speaker National Assembly and their staff has been increased from Rs11.6 million to 16.1 million for the year 2010-11.

The pay of the leader of the opposition has been increased from Rs7.7m to 8.5m. The salaries of the chairmen of the standing committees of the National Assembly have been increased from Rs108m to Rs174 million.

In case of senators, allocation for their salaries has been raised from Rs172m to Rs179m. The salaries of the chairman and deputy chairmen Senate and their staff has been increased from Rs26.7m to Rs28.5m.

The pays of the leaders of the house and leader of the opposition in the Upper House have been increased from Rs18.9m to Rs20m.For chairmen of standing committees in the Senate the budget allocates Rs199m from the previous Rs177m....
