Asma for DawnNews

Samaa TV’s talk show host Asma Shirazi will join DawnNews soon, sources at both channels tell JournalismPakistan.com.

She has won a 10pm slot, which earlier reports said, was being negotiated with Nadeem Malik of Aaj TV. Malik is now unlikely to join the channel.

Asma, who hosts the program Faisla Aap Kaa had joined Samaa in July 2010. She also worked for Geo and ARY channels.In July DawnNews hired eight Samaa staffers including their Bureau Chief Iftikhar Shirazi.

Guys dont jump to guns, one of the best interview of IK was done by AS. I agree she is not hard hitting Journalist, and she is easily intimidated by Zaedari and Shareefs..... but why blame her only look at our awam....... they still stand by them notwithstanding obvious loot maar....

just a thought, ager seyaastdan party badlay to lota, ager sahaafi channel badlay to keya??? obviously when a politician change party its for a benefit, and when a journalist do it, motive is the same, Asma kay shayed yay 4th channel ho ga,
