Time for me to Pack up and go back to Pakistan after a very long year.

Although i know kay wahan garmi bhee hai aur daba kay load shedding bhee. Par despite all this cant wait to go back and enjoy those special Amma kay parathas in sehri, that heavy dose Iftari. Will surely miss the night cricket thanks to load shedding but most importantly to show my son where he actually belongs. His and mine homeland.

To all the Expats Pakistanis do you still feel that excitment going back to Pakistan considering what Pakistan is going through?

Dpends how long are you going for, where are u going to and what will be your activities, if you are going to Karachi, it would be different than going to Okara, I went to okara, had no problems, well, loadsheading is the national issue. i was really sad to see my friends were struggling with money. were also very sad to see inflation, povety, increase in drinking & gambling issues. It does not mean i wont go there, I would go n live in 4o degree any day

I normaly visit every year and earlier this year when i came out of plane and looking around at the airport i had this very strong feeling that most of the country has not moved and still stuck in mid 1960s
People have move forward in their individuals life but country is still stuck back their.

Pakistan is a blessing on this planet earth...

Take it as a prediction or analysis, Pakistan would be center of excellence in coming years.. I have no doubt in this.

Just make sure you hide your Canadian $$$$ and also make sure your relatives come and pick you up from the Airport. Never take a Taxi, in the night. Wait till its morning and you see activity all around you.

Hide your passport, and make sure you have Information about Canadian High commission in your city of arrival or that particular Country. Do not use Cell phones given by any one at the Airport. Use Pay phone!

Ref to Canadian Government Travel Advisory Website.

Make sure you blend ASAP into the local Community... Dont act like a Duck on a Target.
