LAHORE - Key suspect in Shahzeb Khan murder case, Shahrukh Jatoi, was arrested from Dubai with the help of Interpol, a private TV channel reported.

Jatoi would be brought back to Pakistan after completion of the legal formalities.
Inspector General (IG) Sind Fayyaz Laghari has however claimed no knowledge of the development.
Earlier, an arrest warrant had been issued against Shahrukh Jatoi while Siraj Talpur and his three friends were arrested on Saturday.

Police came into action on Friday after the Supreme Court directed authorities to arrest the accused in the Shahzeb Khan murder case and present a charge sheet within 24 hours.

ARY breaking the news, Jatoi has given himself up in Pakistani consulate, voluntarily.

Jatoi said, his family is harassed in Pakistan. He thinks it is wiser for him to give himself up.
He said he has full confidence in Pakistani juidicary.

He denied any knowledge of murder or murderers of Shahzeb Khan.

Shahrukh Jatoi – prime suspect in Shahzeb Khan’s murder case – has apparently surrendered himself to officials at Pakistan’s consulate in Dubai, Express News reported on Monday.


Shahrukh had reportedly escaped to Dubai after allegedly killing Shahzeb Khan in Karachi.

Shahzeb was murdered on December 25, 2012 over a petty dispute in Karachi’s Defence area allegedly by Shahrukh.

Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry took suo motu notice of the killing and ordered police to arrest the suspects.

Police managed to apprehend Siraj Talpur, his brother Sajjad Talpur and their cook. However, they failed to arrest Shahrukh.

In a bid to force Shahrukh to return to Pakistan, or turn himself in, police had taken his father, Sikander Jatoim into custody.

Police, who had sent a delegation to Dubai, had claimed that Shahrukh had been arrested in the emirates and would be repatriated as soon as legal formalities are fulfilled.

ARY shown little clip of Shahrukh from Dubai after his arrest.

He said, he is not involved in the murder of Shahzeb, he is going to clear his name.
He also denied that he traveled on false documents.

KARACHI: Shahrukh Jatoi, the main accused in the Shahzeb Khan murder case, has been arrested from Dubai, Geo News reported.

Shahrukh was arrested with the assistance of Interpol and arrangements are being made to bring him to Pakistan.

Earlier, a non-bailable arrest warrant had been issued by the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) against Shahrukh Jatoi.

DIG West Ali Baloch had departed for Dubai to arrest Jatoi.

Police have already arrested Siraj Talpur, another main accused in the murder of Shahzeb Khan, along with three of his friends on Saturday.

Police sprang into action on Friday after the Supreme Court directed concerned authorities to arrest the accused in the Shahzeb Khan murder case and present a charge sheet within 24 hours.
