ARY deletes a clip of Jibran Nasir where he is criticizing the Channel - Producers tells Jibran to '

Ary News "clipped" (censored) a clip of Jibran Nasir from its program "Sawaal Yeh Hay", where Jibran Nasir reminded them of a program aired by the channel previously declaring the Prime Minister a blasphemer. The show was aired last night and has completely edited the segment, as if it was never there.

It appears that the Media enjoys its freedom of speech, whenever they are to criticize someone, however, the inverse appears to be true if the tables are turned towards them. The idea of freedom of speech evaporates in thin air, as if it was of no importance, rather is taken as an offense.

Jibran Nasir pointed out the television channel in a tweet.

However, it is more than startling that the tweet was responded by a video and broadcast technician with an air of rowdiness. One can guess from his tone in the tweet that how much considerate his senior officials like the anchors and journalists could be in such a matter.

Jibran Nasir is an acknowledged and respectable name in the media and the fields of social activism, but the response of the technician depicts how they consider themselves as the salt of the earth. Just see the below tweet

خدارا ۔۔۔! یہ کوئی توہینِ عدالت یا توہینِ سیاست و صحافت نہیں کہ ہر للو پنجو کالی ٹائی والا ایڈوکیٹ، کوئی کارڈ پہ لٹکی صحافت پہ نازاں صحافی یا کوئی دن بھر مخالف سیاسی جماعت کی ماں بہن یاد کرنے والا سیاسی کارکن کہے کہ "جی میرا خیال تو یہ ہے۔۔۔۔میرا خیال وہ ہے۔۔۔" بابا! تم ہو کون اپنے خیال کو قرآن و سنت اور حدوداللہ کے سامنے پیش کرنے والے۔۔۔۔؟ تمہارا خیال کس کھاتے میں آرہا ہے بابو ۔۔۔؟
