Islamabad: The business tycoon Malik Riaz’s counsel, Zahid Bukhari has submitted the documented statement of Malik Riaz in the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
The Supreme Court of Pakistan has resumed the hearing of the suo moto case against Dr Arslan Iftikhar.
According to latest updates Malik Riaz will appear in the court but before that his counsel has submitted his statement.
A private television channel has showed the documented statement of Malik Riaz.
Malik Riaz has said in the documented statement that Dr. Arsalan used to say that he could help him regarding the Bahria Town cases in Supreme Court.
Malik Riaz also mentioned that he did not get any relief in spite of Dr. Arsalan’s statements.
Three foreign tours of Dr. Arsalan’s family with full details of travel and stay have been mentioned in the documents.
Dr. Arsalan’s family had a first foreign tour of London and the total expenditure incurred were 88 Lacs, 60 Thousands and 579.
The second London tour had expenses of 59 Lacs, 47 Thousands and 726.
Moreover, the documents also stated that Dr. Arsalan had been paid cash of 32 Crores and 70 Lacs in different installments.
According to documents the total expenditure incurred on Dr. Arsalan’s family is about 39 Crores and 42 Lacs.
Malik Riaz further said in the documents that there is no involvement of President, Prime Minister, any politician, or any agency in this matter.
Malik Riaz also expressed his respect for Supreme Court and all of its judges in the documents.
He also raised legal objections on the case’s hearing mentioning that its illegal for SC to take suo moto notice.
Malik Riaz also said that Dr. Arsalan committed fraud and did corruption which is against NAB Law.
