ISLAMABAD – The central leader of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf, Arif Alvi, has apologized on the statement of “35 punctures” and said that the source of this revelation was not authentic.
Arif Alvi said in media talk that we should have confirmed the credibility of source before declaring that news publicly. He further said that we should not have believed in the conspiracies.
Najam Sethi, former caretaker CM of Punjab, has welcomed the remarks of Arif Alvi and aims that this would set a good precedent in Pakistani politics.
Earlier,Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has also confessed that his claim of ’35 punctures’ during Dharna was not more than a political statement.
Arif Alvi said in media talk that we should have confirmed the credibility of source before declaring that news publicly. He further said that we should not have believed in the conspiracies.

Arif Alvi is a nice man and I have no doubt left. IK is still not saying sorry but now coming up with different things against Najam Sethi.

Another point which IK still is still emphasizing as proof is Najam Sethi's statement that before one week of formation of new government Sethi said he was powerless. To this accusation, Sethi laughingly explained in a talk show that all the bureaucrats including Chief Secretaries and Secretaries after sensing which party is going to win the election become allegiance and faithful to the would be new party government and this happened before the formal take over of the new government. If it is true, then IK stand on this point goes weak.
