Imran's idea of having lesser teams and establishing an association's based system is good but unless there are 2 or 3 layers of the club, district, and school cricket and a very honest system which gives a chance to each and every deserving talent, the change will make the things even worse. Our problem is that 50% of the players in these 6 first-class teams are those who already have been discarded, are over-age, or have no chance to play international cricket. Now until they make way for the new talent with potential, how can someone expect any good.
