Now the Supreme Court judges have taken over the role of finance ministry. Isn’t it time the government stand up to this crook and tell a spade a spade? It’s not HIS job to decide about taxes.

جیری کی منطق کے مطابق پھر سب ٹیکس لینے پرپابندی ہونی چاہئے۔

اور دفاع ، صحت، تعلیم اور اس جیسے سرکاری ملازمین کی تنخواہیں اور اخراجات یہ شادی اور پیدائش پر ناچ کر ویلیں اکھٹی کر کے پورے کرے گا۔

Actually, It is his job.It's courts job to protect citizens if they are being treated unfairly.

Seriously? Imposing taxation is the Court's job? No, it is absolutely not his f****ing business. It is the government's right and authority to levy whatever taxes they want to impose, fair or unfair.

These type of step could have been great if we were in good financial situation but now no tax on mobile calls, Card, Internet will only create problems.Not to mention, Government taking tax on mobile use is normal in world.The only issue was that too much tax.

That is not true Birdie 101. If the government needs more tax money then it should collect tax from the thousands of rich people living in DHA, Bahria Town, and other posh areas of Pakistan who live in houses of crores of rupees and drive luxury cars.

It's courts job to save people from whatever unfair thing government does.And, You are underestimating courts powers.You would be surprised to know how powerful supreme court is.It's just that our courts don't use their power fully.

Supreme court has powers conferred on it by the constitution. And in that very constitution, the right of imposing taxes and implementation lies with the current government. Tomorrow the court might start saying, attack India, or expel American diplomate, would it be acceptable to you? It is the government prerogative to levy whatever taxes it deems suitable for running the government.

correct. So the parliament makes the rule and the courts implement it. The court does not make the law.
