Another alleged child abuse case of Ghareeda Farouqi surfaces -- Locked up a 14 year old girl after

Another case of the famous Anchorperson Ghareeda Farouqi has recently surfaced.

An application was filed at the Sundar Police Station of Lahore, where it is reported that Ghareeda Farouqui detained a 14 year old girl named Amna Zafar. The victim was locked up in a room after physical abuse and was deprived of food during her captivity.

The copy of the application has been obtained.

Upon inquiry, it was also revealed by the family of the victim child that Ghareeda Farouqi fired the girl of her job as a maid a week ago. Later on Ghareeda Farouqi contacted the victim's family and asked them to send their daughter again for the job. The victim's family, sent the girl again to her.

However, after having no contact with the girls for three days, the mother of the Aamna got worried and reached the home of Ghareeda to see her girl. To her surprise, her daughter had been locked up in a room for the past three days. She was deprived of food and her cell phone was also confiscated by Ghareeda.

The girl was rescued by Rescue 15 force, because Ghareeda Farouqi did not let the mother of Aamna to see her.

Adding insult to the injuries is the attitude of our Police, where the victim's family had approached the Police authorities but they have still not filed an FIR of the case.

Although the girl has been retrieved and is now with her family but her family is woe begone due to the trauma and the uncooperative attitude of the Police. The victim's mother say that she has lost all hope to get justice for her poor child.

This is the second case of child abuse of the anchorperson which has surfaced in the recent past.

It is also mentioned in the news that the girl was rescued by Rescue 15. This does make me ponder that the news may be true. However, lets see if we get a response from Gharida herself telling her side of the story.

I am wondering phone number is written on the paper why not someone wring that number and ask about incident including reference to 15 rescue operation of recovering child from her property. Just a thought..(hmm)
