Looks like the only reason for growing Islam is the 'high fertility rate' of Muslims rather than the conversion from other religions. If this is true than shame in them. Many Maulvis have declared birth control as haram. Increase in population is the biggest problem being faced by muslim countries. There is nothing to be proud of.

Increase in population IS a problem. Resources are limited. With the development of medical science, the difference between births and deaths has increased significantly. 1/6th of all humans ever born are alive in this world right now.
