Analyzing Dana Rohrabacher
By Aneela Shahzad
June 22, 2012
[HI]At the event of introducing the bills on Baluchistan and Dr. Afridis rescue, Congressman Dana Rohrabacher, in many of his video telecasts, did his utmost to disgrace the Pakistani nation, not being able to hide his barbaric sense of race and faith based hatred.[/HI] In an exclusive interview to the Voice of America, a program made in America but meant exclusively for the Pakistani audience, not only a lot about this man is revealed, but also the level of intellect and morality upheld by the US congress. If a man who cannot say two things without self-contradicting and can shift his morality in every other issue raised and he has been elected by the American people and made their representative in the international front by the congress; then woe to democracy and woe to the wealthiest state machine of the world. [HI]OR maybe the VOA people simply thought that the Pakistani people will behave blind and deaf to anything that comes in English.
[/HI]
[HI]For a country that upholds freedom, liberty and justice for the whole world;[/HI] for a country that holds the highest opportunities to educate its people; and for a country who has waged bloody wars for its slogan of democracy, [HI]for its representative to be void of moral equilibrium and verbal composure; hate mongering from start to finish, is a shame to the name of democracy itself.
[/HI]
In the interview, Rohrabacher made it clear, repetitively, that he is unable to view the world with the dark glasses of the US interest removed from his sight. He made it clear that for him, life is only the life of the 3000 that died in the trade center and for him family is only those who are situated within the map of USA.
[HI]In answering to the question about how these hearings can jeopardize relation with Pakistan, he said if bringing out truths and facts would jeopardize the relations, that means that Pakistan must be doing horrible things that are not in the interest of the US like aiding and embedding the monster who slaughtered 3000 Americans and then arresting the man who helped US and calling him a traitor,[/HI] clearly showing that for Dana, hurting US interest is to be taken as the most horrible crime against humanity, [HI]also meaning that the Pak /US relation is based solely on the 3000 dead and have nothing to do with democracy [/HI]for all the people or the war against insurgencies everywhere around the world and to cut down all newly budding terrorist organizations, seems like, for him, WOT is equal to the revenge for the 3000.
[HI]He added that if someone helps our family (the American people) to catch our offender, he is our hero and to declare him a traitor is a declaration of the Pakistani government that they are an enemy of the US that every minute they keep him (Dr. Afridi) is a statement to the American people that they are our enemies.[/HI] Perhaps Dana lacks the global wisdom that tells us that a country which has, for the last ten years, supported a global cause with the lives of its armed and civilians, with logistic support and by enduring their pathetic drone policy to this day; is not to be called an enemy for protecting their one internal affair, this is extreme short-sightedness on the side of Dana and the US.
[HI]He further said how do you commit treason if you are helping an ally , no, no you are committing treason if you are helping an enemy and repeat by charging him the Pakistani government has declared that it is an enemy of the US.[/HI] This sentence could only be eligible to the Pakistani audience if Dana could have identified who is the ally of who by his definition; Pakistan of the US or Afridi of the US, perhaps if we could rephrase what he said in the Pakistani prospective [HI]it would sound like this, if Afridi is helping the US, he is not committing treason, if he helped the state of Pakistan then he would be committing treason cause Pak was the enemy; and by charging him the Pak government has declared what the US always wanted to tell Pak, that they are their enemy.
[/HI]
When asked if US would like, that one of their public starts helping MI6 OR Mossad?, he said if there was someone who was engaged in bringing a mass murderer to justice, we would not charge him with treason, we would probably give him a gold medal we have 3000 unarmed civilians slaughtered in our face he would not be an enemy of the US but probably just looking to justice. Note that its all about the 3000 again, compared to the 1,150,000 declared violent deaths in the war on terror around the world and just for pleading his stance, he is bursting out with an outright lie that if anyone would outlaw their state looking for his own justice, the US government would let him go, that too with a medal, is Dana telling us the story of Robin Hood or is he telling us that he is still living the wild-wild-west or is that the limit of his personal thought experience?
[HI]Rohrabacher, on the question whether the US was giving Afridi US nationality and what the US is expecting next, said that they expect Dr. Afridi will be released and if not,[/HI] and even if we dont pass this law (of giving nationality to Afridi) [HI]Pakistan aint gonna get one more penny from the US weapons which they have turned around and used to murder Americans,[/HI] Pakistan is gonna have to understand that the people of the US know when they are being treated like fools and like enemies and we would rather go to friends rather than someone who murders the American people. In other words the US is not even sure yet if its going to give him a nationality, that liability of the US upon itself should not be taken as a considerable issue, how are they going to put the medal on his neck then, if they cant even give him a sick nationality? [HI]He also showed his sick-mindedness when he thought that nations can be controlled like 4-year olds i.e. by scoldings and sweets. And how is Pakistan turning around and killing Americans, has Pakistan entered the Afghanistan or are the Americans inside Pakistan,[/HI] everywhere? Americans are fools because they have stepped into a war they have no control on, because they let their government go running to save the whole humanity when they arent even capable to save their own men; what business has this Rohrabacher have in threatening us of their friendship, who want to be friends of fools like them, in his own saying, that is.
When asked if he will follow the hearing on Kashmir, to show his consistency with human rights violations, he said, [HI]when India arrests a doctor who is responsible for helping us get someone who has slaughter 3000 of our country, well hold that hearing, but not on human rights violations?[/HI] he was asked, he said yeah, the point is that Pakistan has been assisting the slaughter, the person who slaughtered American citizens in large numbers, [HI]Pakistan has been giving weapons to the people killing American soldiers, India has not been doing that, but where we will spend our limited time, Im sorry if someones murdering Americans were going to spend our time condemning them before we condemn someone whos not, so will you be having more hearings (on Kashmir to show your consistency?, I dont know. Well! that was as plain as butter, they will condemn human rights violations in Kashmir, only when India does not comply with them; otherwise they will never do that because they dont have waste-able time.[/HI] Well if they are so busy and arent even able to save their own ***, who told them to run around the whole world like the mad-hatter, with guns and the rhetoric of saving the humanity; when they cant tell a simple right from a wrong and have no time to say a few words for a suffering people.
On the question on the hearing on Baluchistan, he gave the most startling of theories and the most dumbest of logic, he said, [HI][HI]we might have a hearing on colonial borders that are now been enforced if it hadnt been suffered the revelation that Pakistani government had aided the monster that had slaughtered our (3000) this wouldnt have been this way either[/HI][/HI] (thats a shifting stance for sure, comparing colonial boarders with the 3000 murdered again). Does this not give any sensible person the indication of the schizophrenic nature of Rohrabachers mental state, are the colonial borders going to be redrawn?, just for the sake of it! are all the African countries not been drawn in straight lines by the colonials?, has American not been drawn by colonials? Rohrabacher is like talking total chaos and anarchy, if that is American representation, hell will be raised sooner!!
[HI]At, you mentioned Baluchistan being annexed; do you today consider Baluchistan a part of Pakistan?, he said sure it is, but its composed of people who have human rights, and when you have a country and you have sovereignty, and they are, officially Baluchistan is now part of Iran and part of Afghanistan and part of Pakistan,[/HI] same way with the Kurds, Kurdistan regional area in part of Iraq, can this region be one day independent, depends. [HI]Wow! That calls for a real round of slaps for Rohrabacher, what logic! Baluchistan is a part of Pakistan and at the same time it is a part of Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan, did you say 3=1, real smart! So three countries should be broken down to make a Baluch-istan[/HI] and four countries (Turkey, Syria, Iraq and Iran) should be broken down to make a Kurdish-tan, [HI]and how about uniting the American white regions to Britain, their long divided brothers, how about 54 ethnic minorities within European states that may form local regional majorities, or unite and free the Blacks or the Hispanics in America, not to mention the 1652 mother tongues spoken in India, how many parts would that make of India? Perhaps Rohrabacher has read only the part of history his jerky brain can handle,[/HI] perhaps he did not know that the Baluch people have their real roots in the Kurd people; so what should be done under his stupid logic is combine Kurdistan with Baluchistan, perhaps making west Baluchistan and east Baluchistan.
[HI]The bitter truth is that the only Baluchistan existing on map today is the province of Pakistan; it owns Pakistan and Pakistan owns it, and Rohrabacher better keep his stupid logic to himself, or sell it to his own people.[/HI] He further said on the matter that if you got to be consistent you cant be on Baluchistan and not on Kashmir just like in Kashmir and in Baluchistan, you have people who see their loved one being killed by their governments, they react and over react, so for the people of Baluchistan to murder any Punjabi or Phustun is wrong thats not the way to make a moral case for your rights if your going to murder someone else, well that is a plain U-turn; the US has been making a moral case for their rights for the last ten years, killing all sorts of people round the world, droning innocent men, women and children and look what hes preaching to others.
When asked, that when the US gave a green light under the war on terror to pick up people and hold them without trial that increased the level of disappearances, torture etc so is the US partially responsible in Baluchistan and other parts of the world for? [HI]He said, No, no not at all, what we did in the WOT and the ongoing war on radical Islam, which is the basis of the WOT, we were picking up people who were engaged in their go, in their activity in plots and plans to murder people in the name of God and assert authority over other in the name of God, as if God talks to them. So the basis of WOT was to target Islam, hes saying[/HI] and the US was picking individuals who were planning (in their speculation) to kill in the name of God, [HI]while the US was killing in the millions in the name of humanity, as if humanity talks to them, is that not the most radical of thinking?[/HI]
[HI]He said, the US were picking up people who were a threat to others, what the Pakistani government is doing is utilizing those tactics in order to suppress people who want nothing more than freedom to live their lives if a policeman kills a murderer different from murderer kills an innocent[/HI] US in picking up terrorists and trying to break the back of a terrorist network supported by the Pakistani government is different than the Pakistani govt. supporting those terrorist and using those same tactics in suppressing those same people in Baluchistan and elsewhere.[HI] So if the US uses the same tactics its good and if anyone else uses them they are all wrong, whoever gets killed by the US is a terrorist and whoever gets killed by the other is innocent people wanting to live a life.
[/HI]
When asked, US looked the other way while Pakistan picked up anyone they wanted whoever they wanted in the name of WOT?, [HI]yeah we made a mistake, weve trusted Pakistan way too long and theyve played us like suckers Pakistani government and the ISI is the embodiment of radical Islam that slaughters people in the name of their own religion,[/HI] they have been providing the guns and ammunition and the support system thats why OBL ended up for 8 years sitting right next doors to the ISI headquarters. The same bla bla, you call us suckers, we call you wacky suckers; because youve been using us for free and killing our people for the last 10 years.
In the end he said, Its all up to them , its all up to Pakistan, Pakistan is being put on notice if our government isnt willing to do that, the congress is: You are no longer going to get any assistance from the US, while you assist those who are murdering American troops and murdering unarmed civilians in the name of radical Islam were not gonna put up with this anymore if Pakistan decides its gonna be a family of nations you want to be more of an open society that respects the rights of others and is not engaged in a war in order to slaughter people or intimidate the western world or intimidate the people of India, if theyre willing to give that up, well have great relations with them. So the wacky man is saying if we comply with them they are going to forget the 3000.
[HI]Rohrabacher reminds us of Conan the Barbarian, only with a haircut, loaded on the Queens ships and hurled onto the shores of the new land. The way he is constantly rubbing his hand in the video show his unstable personality.
