اور آخری بات یہ کہ متحدہ دوسروں سے بہتر ہے یعنی جماعت سے اور پی پی پی سے وغیرہ

پھر آخری میں قاتلوں کو ووٹ دینے پر جب میں نے انھیں آخرت سے ڈرایا
اور کہا کہ یہ بہت بڑا جرم ہے
تو کہنے لگے میرا پورا گھر بیوی بچوں سمیت اس دفعہ عمران کو ووٹ دینا چاہتا ہے اور میں نے ابھی فیصلہ نہیں کیا
ساتھ ہی ایک اور لڑکا جو کہ متحدہ کا ووٹر تو شاید نہیں تھا مگر مہاجر تھا
کہنے لگا ہاں یار آج کل تقریبا ہر شخص عمران کو ووٹ دینے کی بات کر رہا ہے

بہرحال
اتنا ضرور کہونگا
کہ متحدہ کی گرفت کمزور پڑتی جا رہی ہے
اور اللہ اور کمزور کرے​

MQM is not as strong as it once was but they still have a large portion of the population which supports them in Urban Sindh and nothing in the near future will change it. Instead as we near the elections you will see more ethnic problems in Karachi which helps them keep the core group of supporters to stick with them as a safety mechanism.

I would refer people to Shahzaib Khanzada's program in the streets where he talks to different ethnic groups and see where their support lies. In Karachi and Hyderabad overwhelming majority of people in the Mohajir dominated areas said that they will support MQM and in the ethnic communities which are "supposedly" rivals/adversaries of Mohajirs(read MQM) said that they will support whoever they think will safeguard their interests.

One may not agree with MQM's politics but the reality is that they are very good at this game and are well organized and discipline - they have this ethnic strife thing and made it into an art. They know how to use it to perfection. As far as PTI is concerned if they are extremely lucky they will get a seat.

By the way can anyone list the salient points of AH's speech - I can never listen to him for too long and top of it this audio is very bad.

Waisay iss ka hal karachi kay awaam kay buss mein nahin hai - woh waqt buhat pahlay guzar chuka - ab baat unkay haath mein nahin rahee.

Karachi kay haalaat ka hal sirif aur sirif federal aur sindh government kay paass hai.

Effective law enforcement, rule of law, accountability and above all no desire to accumulate wealth and power. Only then things will get back in control - otherwise this story will be repeated over and over again. I blame the last military government for taking the situation out of the hands of people of Karachi.
