Today result clearly shows it is all about money. Given the thin margin money of Aleem khan worked, if ticket was given to an old or idealogical worker the margin wud hv been more n PTi wud hv been disappointed.

Next election PTI will win most of the seats from Lahore given it keeps its policy of giving tickets to people who can win!!!!

100% right based on my personal observation of following his campaign in Lahore for three weeks. Have you ever wondered why noon league is so vocal about Aleem Khan and Jehangir Tareen? Because they can compete with goon league in terms of money. That is why they were scared of Aleem and ran his character assassination campaign.

The real hero of this campaign was Ch. Sarwar. He had nothing personal to gain from this election yet he really gave his heart out.

It also showed that Imran Khan was wrong. Ayaz Sadiq was called all sorts of names by PTI and the irony is He is back. He played PTI's match and won. Imran Khan is just a BAD BAD player of this game.

exactly. noon league complaining about 'chamak' and 'paisa' is qiyamat ki nishani!!! the entire ideology of nawaz league can be summed up by 1 word 'money'.

This is where PPP went wrong with zardari. Zardari followed pmln formula of chamak and lost ppp ideologues. As long as BB was there, she would have given nawaz league tough time because she had some policies/manefesto but when zardari started following money trail, there was ever going to be one winner. Nawaz league can buy the entire national assembly, senate, media and judiciary many times over - the whole party, all ministers and leaders are in the business of making money so you can't compete with them based with money alone.

I hope IK is careful not to lose the main ideology behind pti - aka good governance, welfare state and justice for the weak. this is what makes pti an attractive proposition.

100 % agree , he got just 10000 less votes than 2013 , while PMLn got 20000 less

compare it to PTI , loosing its won seats from Peshawar and Mianwali which IK left for keeping pindi seat
