According to Dawn News:
"If I am not wrong, he said he has only thought about it, not decided. And a person's thoughts can change at any time," Mengal said, adding that the country's rulers change their decisions often.

"I don't think the government is serious. These are not muzakrat (dialogue), they are mazakrat (a joke)," he said, adding that the people of the province have been a victim of this "joke" since 1947.
The reason why Akhtar Mengal questions the approach of Imran Khan's Dialogue initiative because there is a complete history of insurgencies in Baluchistan.

This idiot and greedy piece of filth will not agree on anything whatever you may do.He is in a win win situation because his brother Javed Mengal runs a banned militant outfit called “Lashkar e Balochistan” with the help of his Indian and Afghan Masters while he himself is a part of PDM.He has played a very negative role in radicalisation of the Baloch folks especially in Makran division.The other day I was having a brief discussion with one of his diehard supporters in Quetta and he started off with that traditional old trumpet that “Punjab is trying to enslave us and our areas are under developed” etc.But when I asked him that why don’t you let the running CPEC projects get completed because that will bring development and you’ll be able to flourish while staying in your own area?He said “CPEC is an international conspiracy to occupy Baloch land”?
Now what do you do about this negative mindset?If there are no projects,they say look Punjab is having metros and blah blah but we have nothing but when the government starts mega projects,their cronies kill innocent labourers.The PM must ignore these filthy characters and concentrate on completion of mega projects especially in Makran division.These idiots will die their own death consequently.

KP produces more electricity than it consumes yet it has never been paid under AGN Kazi formula. Small provinces have grievances, and now there is a conspiracy to roll back 18th amendment. I agree with the opinion and anaylsis. However, we may consider the other side as well. Instead of judging them, we must understand where they are coming from.

This mindest has to developed not in one day It happens because of the history of the last 70 years. Sometimes intensionally or unintentionally by the state or some state organs.

Or a display of weapons is just fun for them. It is not the case.

Operations after operations created this mess. During the 50s, the one "Unit policy" by the state without taking Bengali's and Baluchis into confidence caused the debacle of East Pakistan and one of the reasons why there is an insurgency in Baluchistan.

One must consider the aspect of Baluch leaders who exploit this situation and kept their people ignorant throughout these years.

Despite all these facts, this is the time for reconciliation. The angry Baluchs must sit down at the table and have a dialogue and end this insurgency once for all.

Well, the 18th amendment is good but there are severe problems in this amendment we need to address that. secondly, the provinces must give back a little power to the federation because the federation is weak. Like education

Important Points. The mindset will change but it will take time to change the ground reality.
