Islamabad: Dispelling media reports about he wept, seeing documentary evidences against the son of Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, Pakistan People’s Party leader and senior lawyer Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan on Monday said he only cried over the deaths of his mother and Benazir Bhutto.
Speaking to media, Mr Ahsan said he had seen material against Arsalan Iftikhar but won’t comment as the matter was sub-judice.
Answering a question, Senator Ahsan said the CJ should not have sit in the bench, hearing case also involving his own son. However, he distanced himself keeping in view public opinion.
To a question, he denied having twitter account and said he even didn’t know how a message was posted on the social networking website. He said several accounts with his photograph were being run on the internet.
“I will inform everyone whenever i joins twitter,” he added. “Arsalan has right defend himself against allegations”
