We can't look within to find whats wrong with us. We don't even know the meaning of introspection. We are lazy and don't want to do the hard slog - its easy to point fingers at others and blame others for the mess that we are solely responsible for.
I agree with Temojin that we have sold ourselves cheap - to USA, to UK, to KSA, to Iran, to UAE, to Libya, to Iraq (this has been at state and individual levels too). I don't think that Americans or anyone for that matter could do this if they couldn't find willing crazies to blow themselves up on a bus carrying peace loving Hazaras in Quetta or shoot an eminent scholar of Darululoom Binoria in Karachi or make two tribes to duke it out in Parachinar.
Its us and only us and no one else to blame for this!

میں اس تصویر سے سو فیصد اختلاف کرتا ہوں - اسکی وجہ یہ ہے کہ اس تصویر کو دیکھ کر ایسا لگتا ہے جیسے شیعہ اور سنی حضرات ہر وقت ایک دوسرےپر بندوق تانے بیٹھے رہتے ہیں جب امریکہ اشارہ کرتا ہے تو یہ ایک دوسرے پر گولیاں برسانا شروع کردیتے ہیں اور جب وہ اشارہ کرتا ہے تو رک جاتے ہیں ایسا نہیں ہے - البتہ یہ ضرور ہے کہ ان دونوں کے دلوں میں ایک دوسرے کہ خلاف کچھ خدشات ہیں جسکا فائدہ دوسرے اٹھاتے ہیں - ہماری کوشش ہونی چاہیے کہ کسی طرح یہ خدشات دور کریں تاکہ کوئی انکا غلط فائدہ نہ اٹھا سکے

Just watch out in Iraq where no sectarian violence existed before US invasion. Now Muslim is killing fellow Muslims. The same will happen in Syria when the existing government is overthrown by US. Our people are narrow minded and half-baked educated who are unable to resolve their differences. There is no difference in the fundamentals of Islam between Shia & Sunni. We all believe in one God, one Qur’an and Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh ) as the last prophet. All other issues can be accommodated by respecting each other's sentiments and feeling. We are just tools and someone is pulling our strings with us. Are we so stupid and dumb and don’t understand this conspiracy hatched against us.
