ARY has reported with some concern the threat which has emerged from some press quarters to protest against military Agency head quarters against Geo closure.
As I have stated repeatedly for the last few months , it is my view that there is a single point of agreement between Nawaz Sharif and Raheel Sharif , this single point of agreement is that all power brokers which do not have any sanction in the constitution to be a political power broker needs reining in and possibly ouster from that role if feasible , once that is done I expect a revision of constitution and the number multiple power blocks allowed by constitution will also be reduced .
The enemies of Pakistan had their best days in the last 14 years as multiple power players developed outside the usual allowed in constitution , the constitutional amendments promoting provincial autonomy by Raza Rabbani and increase of role of local bodies by Gen Naqvi were instrumental in weakening the federation of Pakistan. The Ottoman empire , the Moghal empires all disintegrated under pressure of provincial autonomy by Muslim rulers themselves. That is why before proper federal system is reinstituted again the installation of different administration in Punjab and Centre will expose the weakness of the current federal structure much more.
The non constitutional power players included Geo , Certain judges of the type of Iftikhar chaudhary and current Nasir ul Mulk or IHC judges like siddiqui and Kasi of IHC of Iftikhar group, the agencies , and even agitators like TUQ and IK , in addition to Taliban like groups .All will be tamed in time. Geo is no where despite apparent governmental support , Imran khan party stands broken , mock Treason trial is not far away, judges named above will have to go away ultimately and quite soon.
A country cannot have ten incharges and I am not at all surprised that despite army chief,s advance warning to new military officers to expect more changes and be more vigilant , the changes to me are not only to be political but in army itself . Illicit power groups in agencies working for foreign powers need removal. Afterall why is it that when agencies project is ongoing in front of parliament houses no suicide bombs occur and the moment peace occurs , suicide bombs will recommence , shias will be killed or vice versa.
One reason that Imran khan failed in his bid is that sober officers like raheel shareef and senior civil servants and people who are experienced and older in life do not like agitators of this type as TUQ. They know that nothing in life public or private improves unless there are funds , skills , plan, proper admiistration and law and order , the nautch girls of Imran khan or TUQ sermons even if made from heavens itself cannot improve things.
Imran has lost an image of social reformer and packed himself into an image of egotistic Pashtoon prepared to contrive with devil himself for power. Many people in agencies are no less than devils incarnate.
