PPP is like hell fire for old Punjab based journalists/judges/generals. Bhutto and army didn't broke up Pakistan but such people who fall behind everything.

Sharifs may plunder billions and kill dozens in model town and extra judicial killings, but they would still remain their blue-eyed and source of stability.

Rightly Imran Khan has exposed every black sheep from bottom to top. This would remain his great service to Pakistan even if he does not make to PM house. He has badly exposed elite group of Pakistan.

Street agitation were started twice before first against the Ayub Khan govt and then later against the Bhutto govt.Both these movement caused the fall of Ayub and Bhutto govt respectively but the important thing is that these anti govt movement also led to the imposition of martial law.The PPP knows well any such street agitation is likely to result in martial law and as such it is never going to join hands with PTI in any such venture.A better strategy for both parties to follow is to prapare for the 2018 elections and let the govt complete its term tenure.
