ADOLF Lu HITLER R Marak is a politician in the state of Meghalaya, India.
He's a member of the Nationalist Congress Party and he has served in the state assembly and as forest and environment minister. He was once arrested in 2003 for allegedly having ties to a banned militant group.
On the subject of his name, he had this to say: "Maybe my parents liked the name and hence christened me Hitler... I am happy with my name, although I don't have any dictatorial tendencies."
Hitler was elected to the Meghalaya legislative Assembly in 2008 along with another unusually named politician: Frankenstein Momin.
