Acceptance of PTI NA resignations... Will it lead to a dead end???

Till today, I always felt that resignation talk from PTI/IK was a political ploy and was used as a negotiation ploy. Now today after failure of talks, PTI has submitted resignations in the National Assembly.. If these resignations are accepted by speaker NA and passed onto EC, this will lead to a dead end. I hope sanity prevails in the end, and there is political solution to this...

The PML(N) since day 1 has been employing wait & watch policy, in a hope that participants will get tired and leave thus leaving a scattered crowd... This has not happened, and I think it wont happen in coming days either. From the recent statements of NS & SS, they are thinking that IK is leading himself to a "political suicide". MNS yesterday statement of "election audit not possible" also shows how serious government is in resolving crisis.

If PML(N) is thinking that whole scenario is going to end with a "political suicide" of IK and they will be eventual winners in the end with no scratches, than they are wrong. After submission of resignations, PTI is going to become a party with "nothing to lose" scenario, especially if resignations r accepted. And this will not end in a suicide but will end as a "khudkush hamla" on whole parliament... with boots having to interfere eventually...

PTI played the nothing to lose card, when IK commanded his crowd for civil disobedience, nothing happened then and nothing will happen now. Re Elections would occur where the seats would be emptied and the system would go on.

There would be no dead end.

PTI kia RICE mari hae!!!

Keep on wishful thinking like this.. If you think that Army will let this situation linger on for long than just "wait & watch"..

But don't blame IK & TuQ for martial law... MNS will be equally responsible !!

PTI should either resign from KPK as well, or should not waste this last card that they had to play. By submitting these resignations and avoiding resignations from KPK, they are putting themselves in a delicate position with their own office bearers.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Kasoori have successfully engineered the self-destructive policies for PTI and has used Imran Khan's impatience, short-sighted political wisdom and public fan-ship against him. Eventually, even if PTI survives this destruction derby, the party seniors will no longer be confident in Imran's leadership and will eventually have to replace him with either Javed Hashmi or SMQ - which is what this all has been about - hijacking PTI with old timers.

no offense to PTI lovers and Insafians, but political dynamics revolve around patience and safe policies that neither harm the term-serving office bearers nor the public image of the party........ confrontational politics work near the end of 5 year terms (near upcoming election) when the incompetence of the incumbent Government has reached its climax and public is looking for an alternate democratic party to vote for.... but confrontation just 1 year into a newly elected Government's term does exactly what it has done to PTI....... ends up in isolation from all parties - because common sense clearly indicates it is political suicide.

and tough luck for PTI, Zaid Hamid, Tahir ul Padri and all those who are praying and prolonging their sit-ins just so that Army will intervene....... Army is NOT going to intervene and take over the Government. The last resort to provoke any such act by the Army was to storm all sensitive buildings like Parliament and PM house - which was easily averted by one statement from GHQ. now there isn't really anything PTI or PAT can do except apologize to all of Pakistan for their foolish stunts in the first place, and then prolonging it just to maintain the egos of their mentally challenged leaders IK and TuQ.
