On the Tax issue, IK probably didn't need to file his taxes for income earned from the BCCP or PCB as it is now known. Pakistani Tax law stipulates that income earned as Salary need not be filed, granted the tax is deducted at source.
Those trying to create an issue out of this are forgetting the billions in Agriculture tax evasion by the Feudals and the Industrialists like Itefaq Foundries, who simply joined politics to protect and grow their empires.

Very balanced interview I must say. Every leader should face these type of questions and Imran khan did very well.

1. He defined very clearly why he is accepting people who once supported musharraf
2. Why he doesn't support musharraf
3. What was the main idea behind carrying out party elections
4. Shaukat khanam issue; he made it very clear if the money from trust doesn't recover, he will sell his own land, and it is an official statement
5. Drones, Army and democratic government, i think this part has to be cleared a bit more in detail*
6. PTI + MQM (without gun politics), and yes we can all accept that!
7. 62 and 63rd amendment, i don't agree with both najam sethi and imran khan at all
8. Imran made it very clear that all his money is in Pakistan, he is filing his tax returns from 1981 and he will upload the same details on website
9. Bravo to the "engage" and "bring in mainstream" statement. Very well handled.

I believe no other leader can face these questions, we all have the right to agree or disagree with imran khan's point of views. But that is how a leader comes forward and explains himself and his vision. Looking forward for second part!

2. His Tax returns. The fact of the matter is that he infact did NOT pay any taxes in the past 20 years. Sporadically in 2000s.
3. He did not clarify his main source of income. No more BS about $300k per world cup non sense. It costs $100k for 10 business flights to UK alone.

It is guaranteed that his life style is supported by Shaukat Khannam trust. The system works even if he only takes 2% as a salary/service fee and it can be worth 100s of millions of ruppees per year.

Imran Khan is sole signatory for all Shaukat Khannam Trust bank accounts outside Pakistan. All money that is poured into these accounts goes out when he signs the cheques or initiates a TT wire transfer.

Chippa, Edhi and KKF foundations work on similar basis.

Needless to say PTI zombies would never agree to it but then PML, PPP, ANP, PPP zombies are the same.

And yes I am fine with PTI and Imran Khan as long as he does not get too greedy!

3 is interestingly stupid so i can do some chitrol :)
a) Which company charges $100K for 10 Business flights?
b) Imran Khan travels economy everytime unlike Nawaz , so that is a clear Non Sense query again
c) He is keynote speaker of multiple events like WEF World Economic Forum, Oxford Leadership Society etc. Go find TA/DA paid by these organisations (I am not using $100k/10 flights type of BS, search yourself )
