I agree with his assessment, KPK is a test case. .PML_N will go after both KPK & Sindh government if either of them fails. I don't agree with his theory that noon gave chance to IK. In KPK. KPK has anti US sentiment. Nawaz do not want to succumb to that. He wants IK to make those anti US decisions & become unpopular in the eyes of US and then US will not let him come in federal like they did not let nawaz come in federal. I think ALTAF should retire and let others come in his place.

Although i am die hard PTI supporter, i do agree with Sethi about Jihadi content and some other points. Completely disagree with Sethi about KPK gov failure which is utter garbage given the fact that there are dozens of suicide attacks every week and NO ONE has formula to tackle them so blaming a 2 month old government is pure non sense.

It's about time Imran Khan also balances between talking to Tlibans and taking action, we can't just sit down and wait for peace talks for months. Try to talk to them on your terms and if not, let's attack them with proper planning, can't afford to just think about peace talks.

I agree with Najam Sethi's view point and fairly positive, smart and logical citizens of KPK would agree also that Imran Khan has so far failed to perform as per expectations.

He has not even taken small steps on his end except political speeches.

A large number of peace loving and proud people in KPK, who stood in the long lines to give this man their vote, are rapidly realizing the fact that they made a mistake and getting extremely tired of Imran Khan.

Imran Khan needs to take steps, even if it is small to create a sense of security for the proud and smart people of KPK, instead of just uttering daily "learnt by heart" speeches.

My question to them is that, fist its not Jihadi content, Jihad as a topic is part of curriculum in Punjab, had always been, Why there was no terrorism there?

Did exterimist elements not misuse this fact that some of the parts of quran been removed from curriculm by govt to further polarise society and used innocent people for their benefit.

I am not a politician but with my near zero knowledge on the internal matters of people running PTI, how about giving Mehsud of TTP and other misfits a PHONE CALL??

A simple phone call from Imran Khan can at least lower down the temperature. At least then proud people of KPK will know that Imran Khan MEANS business and is not all talk.

This will also send a message to Gunju Nawaz Shareef to take similar steps.

This is IF WE WANT TO TALK to them. If the TTP show a cold shoulder to Imran Khan and lets assume, say NO to him, at least the proud and beautiful people of KPK will know that the TTP do not want peace and the local administration along with others needs to formulate a war planning.

Right now as the EVIDENCE suggests, Imran Khan is just talking, talking and talking while the lives of common poor but proud and beautiful people of KPK are being destroyed on daily basis.

are they american, saudi, irani? or just spontaneous? only Mad pakistanis.

I believe there are some who are already in touch with IK and had offered to coordinate during waziristan march. its the ones who don't listen to anyone and are purely either against state or sects. In that case PTI/IK need to know where army and faderal govt stand and then take appropriate actions, I think IK wants to know what is the deal with these groups in terms of national secuurity and to me it looks like army and PMLN/PPP don't want to let him in the secrete

I do think PTI should give a deadline to govt to cooperate and initiate the dialogue atleast, if pmln don't do anything PTI should tell these groups that its faderal govt that is responsible for WOT policy, they should spare KPK or should get ready for the deadly operations by police, FC and army if there would be any attacks on KPK.

In my post I meant to talk about other governance issues which I believe they are working on. and also I think some people are expecting a bloody miracle over night with the Very little mandate given to his party.

I think mistakes should be highlighted but calling out a blunt failure without any reason is just wrong.

You raise a few valid points. I do agree with you that two months are nothing however when the lives are on the line, actions must be taken.

Without digressing too much, I remain intact to my first major point to which you partially stand by me as well, which is "at least take small steps" to build a momentum.

We both can, in the end, arrive comfortably to a conclusion that, mere war of words is not going to reflect positively for Imran Khan. Same goes for PML (n).
