PPP and Sindhi waderashahi are trying to swim upstream. Let them get exhausted. The last laughter will be heard from Karachi, not from Nawab Shah.

What ignorance. Sindh comes from the Sanskrit name for the river Indus i.e. Sindhu. The Persians called it Hindu in Avestan. Pakistanis deny their own roots. Sad.

ab lassanyat le bunyaad pr banay soobay tor kr sab divisions ko soba bana dena chahye..ye punjab, sindh baluchistan ke ratt khatam honi chahye

The guy is partially wrong for sure, in acnient Iran, punjab and parts of current KPK were part of one province called gandara or something, but province punjab's name punj+aab is pure farsi meaning 5 rivers. This I have personally read in history books that current punjab and parts of KPK were part of Iran...everything left of the river Indus was part of iran too at some point and it was most likely part of baluchistan as a province...So when user above says everything on the right of indus river was called Sind is gravely mistaken...
However...all this is sooooo remote history and to be honest who gives a crap about it. Reality is we need to manage our issues in todays date...

Incorrect. Please review history...they had been part of Iran at some point and then independent areas ruled by whoever had the more power...but never been single entity

Its not Pakistanis who are denying this its some bengalis and Biharis here who are campaigning against Pakistans history and culture. Sindh is even mentions in Bhagwat Gita. These Biharis openly speak against Shah Latif the greatest poet in Sindh history. Old Historians also said that Sindh extends from the arabian sea to the pine trees in the north (Kashmir) Border of Kashmir was the border of Sindh. But these areas were lost long time ago and what really means by Sindh is the lower lying areas to where the River Indus flows which is modern day Sindh and South Punjab. The culture and language can be traced back thousands of years but some enemies of state on this forum openly deny Sindh cultural heritage for some pig sitting in London.

Balochistan and Afghanistan had remained Provinces of Iran for a longtime. However Sindh and Punjab were excluded from all Persian Empires until the Muslims crushed the Sasanian Empire and entered central Asia. Some parts of Sindh and Punjab however were temporary held by the Greeks and Persians but this was only few times thousands of years ago and not recent.

Bro Greeks are very recent history, even before that...I posted a map above...as well as I have read many times that Punjab was for sure part of Iran...the name tells it all punj+aab, the map I posted above shows the boundaries...but again..does it matter in today's context?
My point of view is Absolutely NOT....
What matters today is that we (every one from KPK to Baluchistan to Sind to Punjab and Kashmir) collectively lack the ability to come to an agreed upon position so that we can move on. And that is what effing us up.
See in a dynamic culture, even if once you make a wrong decision soon it will be determined that it was a wrong decision hence all will get together and undo it. We LACK THIS ABILITY TO AGREE UPON SINGLE point for the sake of moving forward. Therefore we still are stagnant culture and feel like running in a circle

My comment was in response to this ludicrous comment
"And persians coined it sind. it isn't even indigenous".

Also if one goes back to pre-islamic history of this region, Sanskrit and Avestan are sister languages and most words are similar. So what are considered as persian loan words actually share the same root with their sanskrit counterparts in many cases. for e.g. the word satrap is kshatrapa in sanskrit. Look at the similarities in the old persian
xšaapāvan and sanskrit kshatrapam.

The word "satrap" originates ultimately (via Ancient Greek and Latin) from Old Persianxšaapāvan ("protector of the province"), Sanskritक्षत्रपम् (kshatrapam or kshtrapa), from xšaa ("realm" or "province") and pāvan ("protector"). In Greek, the word was rendered as σατράπης, satrpēs (later borrowed into Latin as satrapes), from a Western Iranian cognate xšaθrapā(van). In modern Persian the descendant of xšaθrapāvan is شهربان (shahrbān), but the components have undergone semantic shift so the word now means "town keeper" (شهر "shahr", meaning "town", بان "bān" meaning "keeper").
You have made some differentiation between Pakistanis, biharis, and bengalis who i presume are all citizens of Pakistan? I don't want to get in to this ethnic wrangle going on here but its not necessary to go in to such old history to get some provinces made. We in India keep making new provinces and nobody is referring to 5000 year old history while doing that. This is a totally wrong approach to this issue in my opinion.

Unfortunately, like the Dam issues, most of the politicians don't even know about their feasibilities. Bus they don't want to build them.
Play lisani politics. And look at the floods now.

Same case with new Provinces. Most of them just doing lisani politics.

As far as I know Karachi me AB majority kise ke bhe nahe. Khi me Pathan bhe buhat he. I think 40lakh tu honge. Give them a city
Agr lisaniat he karne he.
