nice effort. he is right to point out our failures correctly.I m from Punjab and not a MQM wala. Altaf Hussain also wish to correct all these failures through a step as good as MARTIAL LAW. I THINK HE NEVER MEAN IT THAT COUNTRY SHOULD BE TAKEN OVER BY MILITARY. the KHARABEE in so called leadership has gone up the extent that they r doing wrongs and acts against the law openly and there seems to be no end to it.question is who can correct it?will there be any foreign forces to correct it or there is a leader out of present lot whom this nation trusts and he can correct the whole? i do not think so.now if our courts do take some decisions and try to correct the situation, we know what shall be the out come.present lot will never accept it. now what is the solution? I cannot find any but sincere MILITARY person who is a true Mujahid and true Pakistan loving,can sort out this problem and any one resisting or disobeying should be punished in an exampllery way to maintain rule of law.no one including courts should interfere but should his action be accepted for the sake of future of Pakistan. this action must be a swift action and should end up within couple of months and let the amnesty or international powers make hue and cry. during this action i think few thousands have to be QURBAN for Pakistan and that will be too lesser loss than people's bloody revolution. mind u this is to be done and will be done . sooner the better or life losses will be much more due to increased frustration of AWAM.

I am in absolute agreement to Haroon Rashid article but Haroon Rashid is promoting Imran Khan's politics who has also favored Altaf Hussain's school of thought. It is a state of complexity for political in Pakistan.

In Pakistan, Jamhuriyat is for people who get votes on the basis of caste, biradari or who stoke fires of division like ethnicity or provincialism. In Pakistan, Jamhuriyat means people getting elected on the basis of power and fear instead of their working background or ideology. You are right jamhuriyat is too difficult if middle class person tries to file nomination for running in an election but it is too easy for waderas, sardars and sugar mill owners like Nawaz Sharif.

If somebody wil look in the history,he can understand easily the language of outside country allinall of mqm,then similer statement by namnehad pir sb,similer views by pti leader(remember pls,he also supported factitious referundum gen.musharaf,then he appologised on his foolish act,why not getting lesson from history)it is clear&open fact that this govt is currupt,inefficient,not loyal to country,people(see their deeds&acts during the recent disaster)but solution is not to call inborn rulers(all these are doing on behalf of whome? Altaf Qalia statement prove our stance that he is dirty baby of Generals, He love his fathers. Wah re wah MQM ki jamhooriat pasandi. Our enemies (usa & alies) wants to control us through army and kings, like they did in Indonessia, sudan, Egypt, Yeman, Somalia,turkey, and many other muslim countries. Altaf is their dog and is barking on the orders of his masters.

Sawal sirf Itna hai k Altaf Hussain, Imran Khan aur Peer pagara ne toh Corrupt Leaders k khilaaf army aaney ka kaha hai na, toh PML N walon ko ziada mirchi q lag rahi hai.. Ganjey ki hawa nikal gai ? :P
