Lahore: The mark with the day alone have an involvement of around 300,000 youngsters from 55200 Sports and Youth Development Councils throughout the 36 districts of the provinces. The figure of participation in the Neighbourhood and Villege level had reached 700,000 on Saturday and the immense interest of the people has made the Sunday a day of festivity. People from all walks of life did not budge an inch or show any reluctance in participation despite heavy rain that hit several parts of the province. Even though Sunday was observed as an Anti-Dengue Day and Sports Board Punjab organized a walk in this regard in the guidance of Sports Secretary Haroon Ahmed Khan, but there was extensive participation of the people in the different events of the festival now being held at the very lower level. Although activities continued all over Lahore and the province alike, but the main hustle and bustle of the festival was witnessed at Gulshan Ravi football ground where Deputy Speaker Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, who is the chief organizer of the Festival along with Director General Sports Board and Youth Affairs Punjab Usman Anwar graced the occasion.
