چیئرمین ایف بی آر عاصم احمد کا کہنا ہے کہ پاکستان کی معاشی صورتِ حال اس وقت بہت نازک ہے،پشاور میں تقریب سے خطاب میں چیئرمین ایف بی آر عاصم احمد نے کہا ٹیکس گیپ کو کم عرصے میں فل کرنے کی کوشش کریں گے، ٹیکس کا ہدف حاصل کریں گے۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ ہمیں آمدنی میں شارٹ فال کا سامنا ہے، ہم کوشش کر رہے ہیں کہ سالانہ ہدف کو حاصل کر سکیں، رواں سال 7.4 ٹریلین کا ہدف مقرر کیا گیا،ایف بی آر نے معیشت کی بحالی کے لیے مختلف اقدامات کیے، ایف بی آر موجودہ دور کے تقاضوں سے مکمل طور پر آگاہ ہے۔

عاصم احمد نے مزید کہا کہ اس سال ورلڈ کسٹمز ڈے کا تھیم ٹیکس گیپ کو ختم کرنا ہے، ٹیکس گیپ کو ختم کرنے کے لیے اقدامات کر رہے ہیں،پہلا سال ہو گا جب ان ڈائریکٹ ٹیکس کے مقابلے میں ڈائریکٹ ٹیکس زیادہ اکٹھا ہو گا۔

دوسری جانب فنانشل ٹائمز کے مطابق پاکستان کی معیشت ڈوبنے کے خدشات بڑھ گئے، بجلی کی بندش اور زرمبادلہ کی کمی بڑامسئلہ ہے،کاروبارکرنا مشکل ہوگیا، پاکستان کی بندرگاہوں پر درآمدی اشیا سے بھرے کنٹینر جمع ہیں۔

رپورٹ کے مطابق برآمد کنندگان کو ڈالر حاصل کرنے میں ناکامی، ٹیکسٹائل سمیت مختلف فیکٹریاں خام مال کی کمی،توانائی کے مسائل کی وجہ سے بند ہورہی ہیں،حکام آئی ایم ایف کا پروگرام بحال کرنے کی کوششوں میں ہیں۔

I don't want to keep circulating around the same thing I said so many times, that up until 2018, all loan we took was at least being spent on the construction of the Infrastructure and the thermal power projects set up which boosted our generation capacity by 11000 MW.
While during the Donkey's time we boosted this amount just running the Govt. Not a single project was established in this time. On top of it Donkey gave the subsidy on Fuel to trap the next Govt into this mess even after committing to sell it for 30 Rs pluss to IMF. These were (as per famous saying of Sheikh Rasheed) the mines he spread in the Economy which are blasting now.
Saqa Munshi is now trying to sell it at 50Rs Pluss which IMF is asking. So it is not a good situation. IKs mines are working good.

So if the economy of PMLN was so good in 2018 then why was CAD all time high and exports very low ???

Okay, that is another false impression you have, that our increased exports were doing anything too good for us. If you look at the figures of CAD. when IK left the CAD was just 90% of the peak at PML time. Here is the graph of Trading economics.

Even IK did not have any out-of-the-box policy for increasing Exports. Tell me a single plan he gave other than encouraging speeches and financial incentives for exporters. We got lucky that India got hit with Covid more than we did. So we found vacant marketers and with 65% abrupt devaluation our products became dirt cheap.

ملکی معیشت ڈوبنے کی صرف اور صرف ایک وجہ ہے ۲۰۱۸ میں بھی وہی تھی اور آج بھی وہی ہے۔ اور وہ ہے ڈالر کو مصنوعی طور پر باندھے رکھنے کا کھیل۔ اسحاق ڈار کی پیچھاڑی میں ایک کیڑا ہے جو اسے کہتا ہے ڈالر کو بڑھنے نہی دینا بس یہ کیڑا مر جائے تو مسئلہ کچھ سدھر سکتا ہے۔ لیکن ڈالر کو باندھے رکھنے کے بعد جب یہ سپرنگ کی طرح ایک دم اچھلتا ہے تو پھر دو چار سال تک دبائے رکھنے والوں کو مارکیٹ میں پھینک کر مہنگائی سے ناکوں چنے چبا دیتا ہے۔ ۳۲ ارب ڈالر اسحاق ڈار نے اسی جستجو میں دو ہزا رسولہ اور سترہ میں ضائع کئے تھے اس وقت بھی مِفتاح چیخ اٹھا تھا اور اب بھی چیخ رہا ہے لیکن کوئی نونی اس بیچارے کی سننے کو تیار نہی تھا۔

ملک کو ڈالرز نہ ہونے نے ڈبویا ہے اور ڈالر صرف ایکسپورٹ اور ریمیٹینسز سے ہی آتے ہیں کیونکہ ڈائریکٹ انویسٹمنٹ تو ان کے آتے ہی ویسے ہی زیرو ہوگئی تھی جو کہ آجکل مائنس ہے۔ دس سال میں پی پی پی اور ن لیگ کی حکومت نے ایکسپورٹس میں صرف تین ارب ڈالر کا اضافہ کیا تھا جس میں سے ن لیگ کا حصہ صفر سے بھی کم تھا۔ عمران حکومت نے ساڑھے تین سال میں ۹ ارب ڈالر کا اضافہ کرکے ایکسپورٹس کو ۳۲ ارب ڈالر تک پہنچایا جو اب اس حکومت میں کم ہو کر پھر سے ستائیس ارب پر آگئی ہیں۔ ن لیگ نے پانچ سال میں ۵ ارب ریمٹینسز بڑھائی تھیں جبکہ عمران کے صرف ساڑھے تین سال میں ریمیٹینسز ۱۰ ارب ڈالر بڑھیں۔ جو کہ اب بھر چار ارب ڈالر کم ہو گئی ہیں۔ وجہ؟ ڈالر کو باندھے رکھنا۔۔۔۔ انہیں حکومت ملی تو سولہ ارب کے ذخائر تھے۔ چھ فیصد گروتھ تھی۔ ٹیکس کالیکشن چھ ہزار ارب تھی۔ اکانومی چل نکلی تھی۔ ساڑھے پانچ ملین نئے جاب پیدا ہوئے تھے۔ رہی آئل پر سبسڈی تو عمران نے تو ابھی دو ماہ ہی دی تھی جبکہ انہوں نے چار ماہ اس کو جاری رکھ کر قیمت بڑھائی۔ وہ تو روس سے تیل لے کر اسے جاری رکھنا چاہتا تھا لیکن یہ سب کہہ رہے تھے نہی اباجی ناراض ہو جائیں گے۔ لیکن اب ناک رگڑ کر خود ہی وہیں پہنچ گئے۔ عمران حکومت میں آئل کی قیمت ۱۱۵ تھی جو اب ۷۸ پر ہے۔ اس نے ۳ بلین ڈالر کی ویکسین بھی خریدی۔ جبکہ انہوں نے تو ایل سی کھولنی ہی بند کردیں۔ ٹیکسٹائل فیکٹریاں بند ہو گئیں، آٹو سیکٹر ٹوٹل بند اور سیمنٹ پراڈکشن بھی ایک دم نیچے۔ بحرحال لگے رہو راجہ میاں، تاویلوں پر لگے رہو۔​

Yes when IK left the CAD had again gone up to 15.6 bn USD but there was a reason for it.
The oil prices were at 115. Our oil bil was gone from 12 bn to 21 billion USD. In that year he had to pay additional 3 bn USD for vaccines. And prices of edible oil was 5 times high.
In contrast when PMLN had its CAD at 20 bn, oil price was 80, all other prices were normal and no extra ordinary payment was made like COVID vaccines. There was no world inflation.
There was just one and only one reason that Ishaq Dar was keeping the dollar artificially down and there with subsidizing imports. And due to dollar rate, our exports were expensive for the buyers.
In 2015 our reserves were 24 bn. and in the next 3 years Ishaq Dar threw them away in the open market to keep the dollar in check. And when they handed the govt over to PTI, the net reserves were zero and CAD was 20 bn.

راجہ صاحب روپئے کے ۶۵ فیصد گرنے سے ہمارے پراڈکٹ سستے نہی ہوتے بلکہ اس سے وہ مقابلے کی قیمت پر بحال ہوتے ہیں۔ ٹیکسٹائل ایکسپورٹ کمپنیوں کا منافع ۱۵ سے ۱۸ فیصد کے درمیان بتایا جاتا ہے۔ ڈالر کے پینسٹھ فیصد بڑھنے سے خام مال بھی اتنا ہی مہنگا ہو جاتا ہے لیبر کاسٹ بھی بجلی اور گیس بھی۔ فرق صرف اس ۱۵ سے ۱۸ فیصد والے حصے ہی پر پڑتا ہے۔ پچھلے پانچ سال میں ہر چیز کی قیمت کتنی بڑھی ہے اور ڈالر کی کتنی؟ ڈالر اگر سو فیصد بڑھا ہے تو کاٹن ۲۱۰ فیصد، بجلی ۱۲۰ فیصد، لیبر ۷۰ فیصد بھی تو بڑھے ہیں یا نہی۔
دراصل حقیقت یہ ہے کہ ڈالر بڑھنے سے ہمارا مال سستا نہی ہوتا لیکن ڈالر کو اسحاق سنڈرم لگ جائے تو پھر ہمارا مال مہنگا ہو جاتا ہے اور بکنا بند ہوجاتا ہے۔ بِکے بھی تو کسی بزنس اونر کو منافع نہی ہوتا اس لئے وہ لومیں بند کر دیتے ہیں جیسے کہ ۶۵۰۰۰ سپنر ن لیگ دور میں بند پڑے تھے۔​
