30 out-of-school children enrolled

PESHAWAR: The Refugees Affected and Hosting Programme (UNDP-RAHA organised a three-month “Summer Camp” at Toorlandi village in Zara Miana Union Council in Nowshera to enroll out-of-school children.

More than 30 out-of-school children were enrolled at the Government Primary School through the summer camp. The schoolchildren were also provided with free books.

The event was attended by Naseem Bukhari , Assistant District Officer of the Education Department, RAHA KP staff and the local community. Sessions, public addresses, messages including a walk was also organised to support the government’s enrolment drive.

Provincial Programme Manager RAHA-KP Shukriya Syed appraised the support and interest of the local community and the Education Department in making the summer camp successful.
