3M just refused the Trump administration's request to stop exporting respirators made in the US to Canada and Latin America.



With recent shipment acquired by U.S. intended for another nation forcefully. America bullied and took the respirators Shipment by force. In return China halted the supply raw materials to the manufacturing company altogether.


Trump’s decision fits with his “America First…and screw the rest” ideology and his limited comprehension of the world. 3M, as a legitimate and capable global business, is better informed on the consequences of banning the export of N95 masks.

A lesson on unintended consequences is following his decision.

Today, Prime Minister Trudeau announced that Canada won’t retaliate for the respirator ban because it has been able to change to a different supplier.
