PESHAWAR (APP): The head of Monitoring Team for Malakand Range Police has suspended the Station House Officer (SHO) and Muharrar Timergara Police Station for adopting unprofessional attitude, declining registration of report and violation of the uniform of police and directed them for reporting to police lines, said a press release issued here on Thursday. Similarly, the monitoring team for D.I. Khan Range Police has suspended both SHO and Muharrar of Kheri Khor Police for keeping two residents of Pishin in illegal detention. Malakand Range, D.I.G, Mubarak Zeb paid a surprise visit to Police Station Timergara where he on adopting improper attitude, declining registration of report and lacking discipline in police station suspended SHO Inspector, Habibullah Khan and Muharrar, Pervez Rahim and directed them to report to Police Lines with immediate effect. Furthermore, chief of Inspection Team for D.I. Khan Range, SSP Coordination, Peshawar, Fida Hussein Shah suspended SHO, Kheri Khasor Police Station, Inspector, Asghar Shah and Muharrar Mohammad Saleem for keeping two residents of Pishin, Rahmatullah and Asmatullah in illegal detention and unavailability of the Registration No.13 in the police station.

Traffic police launches awareness drive to sensitise masses regarding traffic rules and regulations

PESHAWAR (APP): Traffic police here Thursday launched an awareness campaign to sensitise masses regarding traffic rules and regulations. In this connection, the traffic police arranged a camp at Qayyum stadium chowk cantt area where traffic police officers carrying brushers and pumplifts with slogans of observing traffic laws were distributed among the people and motorists. The four days campaign will be concluded on Friday (tomorrow).
The officials of traffic police briefed the motorist about the observance of traffic laws and regulations.

This campaign is being organised on the directives of IGP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ehsan Ghani and SSP Traffic Khalid Hamdani.
