Pakistan had alot of momentum in its favour at the start of the war when the counter attacked India and captured a large town on the indian side of the border and could have captured Amritsar if the momentum kept going in this direction.. .... until the blunder at Asal Uttar, where the balance shift to Indias favor and the war moved back to Pakistani territory from which Pak army couldn't recover even until the end of the war, the last battle that Pakistan won and Chawinda was many KM inside Pakistani territory in Sialkot sector.
