shameful to say that judges are scared to punish, My answer is that if Judges are scared than they should not be judges, bring those who can be brave and not afraid to die, because we the Muslims believe that death only comes once and the time is written when it will come, Judges have to have courage to be judge, and believe in Islamic values.

Plus Judges must have wisdom to protect themselves by the security they can ask for and should have it.

Foot note:- judges in North america do do their duty by using smarts such as telling criminal that the circumstantial evidence against him is compelling, conclusive and will put him away for 30 years, but if he confesses than the punishment will be lenient and will imprison for only 20 years and criminal right away confesses and the whole matter is solved by smarts of the Judges.
