@AijazAhmed:
Thanks for the post.
Most importantly, I am totally against those committed political workers who cannot see their party or leadership doing anything wrong. Or who cannot admit that any party or human bing, mine or yours or theirs, is not MASOOM -a-NIL KHATA. And, I just hope that these young Pakistanis are not on their way to become a brainless robot like that. You need to raise people in the political parties that should believe on certain principles and policies and if the party or the leader deviates, they should have the moral courage to point out that as a mistake.
Bhai, I mostly do not give direct comment on MQM or ANP as I have very strong reservations against these two parties. And, I believe my reservations will not let me make an impartial comment. Mostly, if I make any comments, I try to generalize it to most of the parties as I believe more or less, every party is the same. So yeah, I agree with many anti MQM point of views, GeoG is also one of them. But that does not mean that I agree with EVERYTHING he says. GeoG should avoid personal comments. No second opinion about it. I wish I had some influence over him, all I can do is to suggest GeoG to avoid personal comments and I assure him that his comments can still be witty, makes us smile and serve their purpose as well.
Nothing against education or literacy. Rather, literacy plus lack of justice/rule of law that has devoid us of true leadership are the core problems of Pakistan. But as I wrote, lack of education is not the ONLY thing missing in our national fabric.
I agree that this is a political forum and people can post anything in favour of their party or against their rivals. But I as mentioned, I got a feeling that the MQM youngsters are more interested in promoting the negative side of other parties than the positive side of the MQM. If as MQM supporter, you are fine with this strategy, then thats OK with me. And, when I see videos like wine and MQM and sabzwari sb being CA etc, I cannot help but wonder if these are the only positive things worth mentioning about MQM.
Mustafa Kamal sb must have done a lot in Karachi. I heard this a lot. And, I heard the same for Haji Nimatullah sb. I have not been in Karachi ever, but I am sure most of this would be true and I hope he will continue to do the same good job.
I would like to give a humble suggestion towards the end. If you have any role in MQM, I would just request you to believe in your talented workers, get rid of some of your baggage from the past, keep working and you will be successful in the long term. The present strategy of reliability on the local and foreign establishment by MQM may grant them some short term success, but that will be lost in the change that is inevitable for Pakistan in the near future.
Thanks and Allah SWT bless us all.
