ذبردست انٹرویو! عمران کو اسی طرح دس سے پندرہ منٹ سے لمبا انٹرویو نہیں دینا چاہیئے۔

This interview could have been even better if on the question of Hamid Mir and other youtuber jurnos Imran had answered it without mincing words and in unequivocal terms that they were NOT his government's decisions. They were establishments decisions and put this question to ISPR and not to me.
Dr. Moeed Pirzada is repeating over and over again in his Vlogs that Rauf Hassan MUST sit down with Imran and devise very calculated aggressive answers of 3 or 4 stupid questions always asked by the international media in their interviews. There is NO need for Imran to become defensive or give political answers. This establishment with his cruelty has left Imran with no other choice but to speak nothing else but the truth and the whole truth.

I don't agree. IK said so indirectly. If he had said what u suggest than the next question would be that "u were fine when establishment was doing all the human rights violations in your government then how can you criticise them when they are doing the same now?''

Yes I agree that IK is not giving the best answers to some of the questions but for this question I think he was fine.

Okay, let's see.
There were only 5 people who were on the receiving end during his time.
Mir, Talat, Noorani, Matee and that guy Toor.
Mir and Talat were taken off air on the personal orders of Hajji post US Afghanistan withdrawal. A month ago Mir confessed on the TV that Imran had nothing to do with his firing from Geo.
Noorani was manhandled by intelligence sleuths on GHQ's orders on releasing Hajji's tax information.
Matee was whisked away by intelligence sleuths and the moment it was brought into Imran's knowledge he immediately ordered his release which showed Imran's hands were clean.
This Toor guy had personal problems with Shifa Yousafzai. So that too was a personal issue as was investigated by FIA.

Now go back to that question of Mehdi.
Imran should have said I have had nothing to do with any such manhandling or muzzling of media, and should have quoted Mir's TV confession. Similarly he should have told about Matee's manhandling and his orders to release him immediately when brought to his attention. Matee later confessed that Imran had nothing to do with his abduction. Imran should have told Mehdi about Noorani's mishandling by the Khaki Eye people and on whose orders. On Toor's brawl with Shifa..... he should have told that it was a personal issue in between two of them as reported by FIA after investigations. All these incidents were establishment's issue with the jurnos and his government had nothing to do do with them.

Imran did bring on the table about the responsibility and the authority factor. And a government within the government run by the powerful military chief, accountable to none.

The point I made in my comment at # 8 was that Imran MUST had hit back to such stupid propaganda by saying.... my government had nothing to do with putting a gag on the media. That is a slander. Behind every incident was powerful military chief and that went in his favor..... if that was the case, and in fact it was, then why to be timid and submissive???

Imran and Rauf must understand that this stupid propaganda fed by his adversaries will be picked up by the international media, therefore he should be amply equipped to hit back with solid facts and figures.

Such a long argument without addressing the point I made.

Agreed. IK should've pointed out the on screen acceptance of these journo's that his govt had nothing to do with their abduction. No sugar coating.

He could use it as another reason for having a fall out with the Junta.

You have very rightly pointed out what the western media is basically looking for to exploit.

After all, wasn't it this guy (Mehdi) who raged against Shah Mehmood's statement of "Deep Pockets"?
