DJ Butt says 'go Nawaz go' after getting slapped with tax notice of Rs 17.2 mn
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Revenue Authority has slapped DJ Butt with a tax notice of Rs 17.2 million, Dunya News reported.
Butt who shot to fame during Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) sit-in protests said he hasn’t received the notice yet.
According to details, DJ Butt has been served the notice by authority’s Additional Commissioner Ayesha Ranjha in which a note was taken of DJ Butt earning millions of rupees and yet not paying a single rupee in taxes.
The notice orders Butt to immediately deposit the amount to avoid prosecution.
Responding to the reports, DJ Butt said he hasn’t received the notice yet, adding that he will face the notice through his legal team. He said if the government wants to take ‘revengeful action’ then it can but “my slogan is still go Nawaz go”.
