اسلام آباد: الیکشن کمیشن نے پی ٹی آئی ممنوعہ فنڈنگ کیس کا فیصلہ محفوظ کرلیا۔

الیکشن کمیشن میں پی ٹی آئی ممنوعہ فنڈنگ کیس کی سماعت ہوئی۔

درخواست گزار اکبر ایس بابر کے مالی ماہر ارسلان وردگ نے بریفنگ دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ تحریک انصاف کو کینیڈا، امریکہ، برطانیہ اور آسٹریلیا سے فنڈنگ ہوئی، تحریک انصاف نے اپنے ظاہر نہ کردہ 11 اکائونٹس سامنے آنے پر تسلیم کیے، تحریک انصاف نے کئی بیرون ملک سے آئے فنڈز کے ذرائع نہیں بتائے۔

چیف الیکشن کمشنر نے کہا کہ ڈونرز کی تفصیل نہ ہونے پر انور منصور اپنے دلائل بھی دے چکے ہیں، پی ٹی آئی وکیل
انور منصور کے مطابق فنڈنگ کے وقت قانون میں ڈونر کی تفصیل دینا لازمی نہیں تھا۔

اکبر بابر نے کہا کہ شکرگزار ہوں کہ الیکشن کمیشن نے تمام ریکارڈ دیکھنے کا موقع دیا، سیاسی جماعتوں کو جواب دہ بنانے کیلئے بہترین موقع ہے، ایسی جماعتوں اور لیڈرز کو رول ماڈل ہونا چاہیے۔

چیف الیکشن کمشنر نے کہا کہ ملک کیلئے جمہوریت سب سے ضروری سے جسے مضبوط بنانا ہے ، ووٹرز کا اعتماد بحال کرنا ضروری ہے، یقینی بنائیں گے کہ سب کیساتھ انصاف ہو، دل سے دونوں فریقین کا مشکور ہوں بہت کچھ سیکھنے کو ملا، قومی مفاد کا معاملہ ہے بہت جلد دیگر جماعتوں کے کیس بھی فائنل ہونگے، یقینی بنائیں گے کہ کسی کیساتھ امتیازی سلوک نہ ہو۔

This case is about Prohibited funds. Max they can forfeit the funds .

(d) "political party" means an association of citizens or a combination or groups of such associations formed with a view to propagating or influencing political opinion and participating in elections for any elective public office or for membership of a legislative body; and
(e) "prescribed" means prescribed by rules made under this Order
