Pakistan is too religiously divided to bring in any detailed Islamic teachings. Shia don't accept sunni sources, sunnis don't accept shia sources, deobandis don't accept braelvi sources, braelvi don't accept sources. So form what and what are you going to teach?

What about the non muslims? Why are they being forced to learn this. Will the Muslim students be required to attend classes about Guru Nanak and Shiv?

I personally think religion should not be taught in schools along with regular classes. At the very least this should be on voluntary class basis and up to the students if they want to attend them or not.

And for those who I know are going to make noise, you lot will be the first ones to make the loudest noise if tomorrow the west makes classes in Christianity and Judaism compulsory even for Muslim student.

So before you start making noise flip the tables around, and put yourself in those shoes and then think if this is the right thing to do.

I think you have not watched the full video. IK very clearly said that every one will study one's own religion.

Non muslims will not be taught islam and consensus on uniform syllabus has already been achieved among various sects.

I have, there is no clarification given if this is only for Muslim students. And other students will study their own religion when Muslims are attending their classes.

This model is implemented here where Muslim students attend Islamic studies while non muslim student go to a different class.

If this is how its going to be I have no issues.

But there is mention of consensus among sects. I did not hear anything mentioned in this regard.

I think if you really want to teach something then it would be that there are no sects in Islam and infact Islam is against sects and sectarianism. That would be a stellar achievement.
