Javed piracha seems to playing the role of mediator and not Molana Fazal ur Rahman.

True, for PMLn JUIF importance is more in Baluchistan than KPK, Fazalul Rehman was on hit list for quite a few years of TTP, they did I think three or four suicide attacks on him n than he went abroad for quite a while. He is not trusted by TTP because of the double game he played. JI on the other hand hv very cordial relation but r sitting at the back. IK also has a clout, let see what team federal Govt decides for talks seemingly a deal will be struck. Lol Javed Piracha is a character though

As far as I see the negotiation are at a distant point and not in sight in the near future.Actually APC was conducted without doing any groundwork and NS will wait and see and will not take any step in this direction without the nod of US and Saudia.

why I am saying this? is because we don't see any serious efforts for negotiation on ground.
I hope i am proven wrong but this is what i see.

On the contrary he has got the nod, Kyani would not be so lack lustred in his reaction to killing of Maj Gen if that was not the case. They r going ahead with the peace talk come what may caz of the changing scenario. US needs a peaceful Pakistan for their evacuation plus TTP won't get unemployed after US pullout caz than they will be fighting alongside with Afghan Taliban for Kabul. I think peace will be made in very short time with a few mishaps here n there just for power brokering the peace talks

Ok if you say so why kiani is so lack lustre why war is in the interest of Army do you think so?
No I don't see it that way.Armies always avoid fighting gorilla wars or for that matter even traditional war.
Why NS seems not so serious is due to the fact that they avoided ratification of resolutions of APC. Only IK seemed serious in APC other send there second tier leaders to the APC.So we have yet to see any concrete step towards dialogue with Taliban.

Yes thanks for the link and i have watched the programme and fully agree with what he is saying.
One thing must be remembered that individually hakimullah and fazalullah don't count much but since they represent a group or local population we have to deal with them once local population see everything peaceful there local support will also wither away.after peace.if they still continue to be rogue then you can take them out since they would not have local support then.
