I don't know how true it is but I heard this from a couple of people that the so-called eye witnesses in KPK were launched by PTM. They wanted popalzai to announce eid on 4th and Government to stand against it so they can create chaos against the government by calling them Kafir/anti-pashtoon etc. Hence, yousafzai decided to instead declare it on 4th June this time to keep KPK on the same page. It might be a conspiracy or might be true. Time will tell!

I don't think so that he has massive following, but most Afghans and some Triable follows him. I knew a lot of Ulema of KPK which are not agree with him and more than 70% of KPK peoples did Eid after 29th Ramadan. His witnesses are same every year and those mosques who has his students and follow him. Many times Ulema has discuss with him but he refused to follow Rute-Hilal committee. Used to be Triable follow Afghanistan and Saudia.

This could also be possibility to create Fittna in our country and fellow muslims. Looser can do anything. At this moment int. Yaar kis dour ke insan ho.. the popalzai and masjid qasim khan has a long history going back 50 years of announcing eid and roza. mufti muneeb and rout was made my musharraf to appease maulvis. and who said that chand would be seen in the capital and announced there. if people in kp gave shahadats and its accepted. whats wrong for u guys to do it with them. kp isnt a part of kpk aur ke islam islamabad pe nazil huwa tha
