In Canada gas price was 109 /litre few months ago, and now it’s 137.9/litre, rent really gone up to 40% in last two yrs.
Saporito cooking oil ( canola oil ) 5 litre bottle was $7.00 now it’s $14.00, Food prices are really gone up.
Lay offs at its peak, only Air Canada’s 20000 employees laid off in 2020 and 6500 in 2021 those who survived, downgraded to different positions with 40% decrease in salary or wages.
Believe it or not downgraded employees are unionized employees.
I’m not comparing Pakistan with Canada, just trying to give fruit for thought to those who really crying out loud about inflation, specially some lifafas anchors.
