I just returned from Lahore. The public transport system is a mess, the roads are plain awful. Other than the pet ares of gulberg, DHA and cantt, Lahore is truly a junkyard. Sure you will find one flyover within sight no matter where you are...but usually the flyover has 10% of the traffic that is flowing beneath it. Traffic management is non-existent, and cops are usually seen lounging around, doing exactly what they used to do before.
