We have far bigger issues to look at than Asad Umar playing for illegal army chief with an IQ of a squirrel. No country would want to invest in a country like Pakistan with this much of 'excess baggage' problems as below:

"LOWEST" of the "LOWEST"
  • Human Development Index (HDI): Pakistan ranks low on the HDI, which measures life expectancy, education, and per capita income indicators.
  • Gender Equality: Pakistan consistently ranks low on the Global Gender Gap Index, which measures gender equality across various parameters.
  • Education: Pakistan has one of the lowest literacy rates and ranks poorly in terms of quality of education and access to education.
  • Healthcare: Pakistan ranks low in healthcare access and quality, with significant challenges in maternal and child health.
  • Corruption Perceptions Index: High levels of corruption, as indicated by a poor ranking on this index, also negatively impact the quality of democracy in Pakistan.
  • World Justice Project’s Rule of Law Index: Pakistan’s ranking is low in aspects related to democratic governance, such as constraints on government powers and fundamental rights.
  • Democracy Index: Pakistan ranks low on the Economist Intelligence Unit's Democracy Index, which measures the state of democracy across countries based on electoral process and pluralism, civil liberties, the functioning of government, political participation, and political culture.
  • Freedom House Index: Pakistan scores poorly on the Freedom House Index, which evaluates countries based on political rights and civil liberties.
  • Economic Freedom: Pakistan is ranked low in the Index of Economic Freedom, which evaluates the freedom of businesses to operate, trade, and invest.
  • Press Freedom: Pakistan ranks low on the World Press Freedom Index, reflecting challenges in freedom of the press and expression.
  • Environmental Performance: Pakistan ranks poorly in the Environmental Performance Index, which assesses environmental health and ecosystem vitality.
  • Internet Penetration: Pakistan has low internet penetration rates compared to global standards.
  • Rule of Law: Pakistan ranks low in the World Justice Project's Rule of Law Index, indicating weak enforcement of laws and poor legal systems.
  • Global Peace Index: Pakistan is ranked low on the Global Peace Index, reflecting internal and external conflicts, as well as levels of violence.
  • Happiness: Pakistan ranks low on the World Happiness Report, which measures overall happiness and well-being of its citizens.
One of the Worst Passport to travel with:

Passport Ranking

  • Henley Passport Index: Pakistan consistently ranks low on the Henley Passport Index, which ranks passports based on the number of destinations their holders can access without a prior visa. As of recent reports, Pakistani passport holders have visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to a limited number of countries, typically around 32-35.
  • Global Passport Power Rank: Similarly, on the Passport Index by Arton Capital, which measures the power of passports based on mobility and visa-free access, Pakistan ranks near the bottom.

Factors Contributing to Low Ranking

  • Security Concerns: International security concerns and geopolitical issues contribute to strict visa requirements for Pakistani passport holders.
  • Diplomatic Relations: Limited diplomatic relations with many countries also impact the ease of travel for Pakistani citizens.
  • Economic Factors: Economic instability and lower GDP per capita can influence visa policies of other countries towards Pakistani nationals.

Consequences of Low Ranking

  • Limited Mobility: Pakistani citizens face significant travel restrictions, requiring visas for entry into most countries, which can be a cumbersome and costly process.
  • Economic Impact: Restricted mobility affects business opportunities, tourism, and the ability to work or study abroad.
  • Perception Issues: A lower passport ranking can influence how Pakistani nationals are perceived globally, impacting their experiences and opportunities internationally.

Cost of constant Military Intervention and hold on Key Assets:

Political Influence

  • Frequent Interventions: The military has frequently intervened in Pakistan's politics, leading to several coups and periods of military rule. These interventions have disrupted democratic processes and governance structures.
  • Dominance in Security and Foreign Policy: The military has a dominant role in shaping and implementing Pakistan’s security and foreign policies, often sidelining civilian authorities.
  • Influence Over Civilian Governments: Even during periods of civilian rule, the military exerts considerable influence over elected governments, limiting their autonomy and effectiveness.

Economic Impact

  • Control Over Key Sectors: The military controls significant economic enterprises through institutions like the Fauji Foundation, Army Welfare Trust, and others. This control extends to industries such as real estate, manufacturing, and services.
  • Allocation of Resources: High military spending diverts resources away from critical sectors such as education, healthcare, and infrastructure, affecting overall economic development.

Civil Liberties and Rule of Law

  • Suppression of Dissent: The military has been involved in suppressing political dissent and curbing freedoms of speech and assembly. This has impacted press freedom and civil liberties.
  • Legal Immunity: Military personnel often enjoy a degree of legal immunity, which undermines the rule of law and accountability.

Social and Cultural Impact

  • National Security Narrative: The military promotes a strong national security narrative, which influences public perception and prioritizes security concerns over social and economic issues.
  • Educational Influence: Military-run educational institutions and the emphasis on military values in public education impact societal attitudes and reinforce the military’s status.

Impact on Democracy

  • Weakening Democratic Institutions: Military interference has weakened democratic institutions and practices, contributing to poor governance and political instability.
  • Electoral Influence: The military has been accused of manipulating electoral processes and influencing election outcomes to favor certain political parties or leaders.

Consequences

  • Low Rankings in Democratic Indices: The military’s pervasive role contributes to Pakistan’s low rankings in democracy, human rights, and governance indices.
  • Economic and Social Underdevelopment: The prioritization of military spending over social and economic development leads to poor performance in health, education, and other critical areas.

Had an utmost respect for this guy. However, he has shown that has no spine.

From SIFC to negotiations with mandate thieves, he has aligned himself with the narrative of Asim Munir.
Not sure if he is doing this with his own convictions or has a GHQ gun over his head.
bhai saab, he is a son of General what do you expect from him?

Asad Umar said that in a democracy politicians of different political parties talk to each other and PTI leadership should engage in political dialogues with all other parties.
You discuss political matters in a democratic country where people's mandate is respected not with corrupt and mandate thieves politicians,

The very first and the heaviest setback on PTI was inflicted by this person, when he came up as finance minister with no plan and delayed the IMF tranche. Pakistan's economy was spun upside down by this guy, but Khan still showed trust in him and stood by him.

Moreover, he cannot show spine to GHQ for the reason that many of his and his family's files are lying with GHQ. Because of this, he also contrived many of PTI's infamous plans and decisions. He is a mole from day 1

Sorry Asad, this is where you fail.

Its like a robber steals your car, and you sit there negotiating with him, kay bhai ao gari mil kay use kartay hain. Subah tum use kar lena, shaam ko mein.

Sitting with PDM is like accepting the abrogation of constitution as legal. The public is with PTI, and PDM /estab know that. Thats whats bothering them the most.

When u irritate the leader by putting him and his wife in jail for months and mock them every day and now expect them to help the establishment then chances are low. Establishment need to allow political leadership freedom and then they will talk or fight let them settle it.
